”Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there...

”We had a great multigenerational family vacation at this spacious cabin. We’ve stayed at places where it is obvious the owners never set foot in it. This felt like someone’s cared-for home - a very well-stocked kitchen, nicely appointed furniture, wonderful wall decor. We love walking to the Tahoe Pines beach for a quick dip. For the young and old, bring your aqua socks for the rocky lake bottom there. Nice neighborhood, great location for our favorite west shore activities.”
