The Space:

Stay in a beautifully maintained character villa in the heart of Mt Eden, combining classic Auckland charm with modern comfort. With high ceilings, polished timber floors, and light-filled living spaces, this home offers a comfortable base in one of Auckland’s most established neighbourhoods.



Living & Dining

The living room provides a comfortable space to unwind, with a sofa, Smart TV, and large windows that bring in plenty of natural light.

A separate dining area includes a table with seating for six.



Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking and includes an oven, stove, large airfryer, coffee maker, dishwasher, and full-size fridge. The layout is practical and well-suited for short or extended stays.



Bathroom & Laundry

The home features a clean, functional bathroom with a walk-in shower. Toiletries are provided, including shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

A washer and dryer are available for guest use during the stay.



Bedrooms

The home includes three bedrooms, each furnished with comfortable beds and fresh linens.

The third bedroom contains a single bed and a desk and chair.

Each bedroom is fitted with its own heater for comfort during cooler months.



Here at Zodiak Stays, we provide our guests with free unlimited WIFI, towels and bed linen, as well as a welcome pack of starter amenities, and we use a high quality cleaning company so the apartment will be perfect for your arrival.



We have all the amenities and facilities you will need to make your stay in Auckland as comfortable as possible:

It’s a premium residential area that feels calmer and more local than staying in the CBD, while still being close to major attractions, shopping, and some of Auckland’s best food streets.



1) Walk up Maungawhau / Mount Eden

This is the must-do local experience. Auckland’s iconic volcanic cone offers 360° views over the city, harbour, and coastline, and it’s one of the most memorable free activities in Auckland. AucklandNZ highlights it as a sacred tūpuna maunga with a summit boardwalk and panoramic views.



2) Explore Mount Eden Village cafés

Mt Eden Village is known for its relaxed neighborhood feel, boutique café culture, and local character. Good café options in the area include Circus Circus, RAD Cafe, and Eden Espresso Bar — all strong, well-reviewed local favorites.



3) Eat your way along Dominion Road

Dominion Road is one of Auckland’s most famous food strips and a huge selling point for this location. Nearby well-rated options include Parro Restaurant, OOH-FA, and the acclaimed Cazador Restaurant & Delicatessen.



4) Visit Auckland War Memorial Museum

Getting Around:

Getting around is easy from Mt Eden. For most guests, Uber or rideshare is the simplest option and offers quick access to the CBD, Newmarket, Ponsonby, Eden Park, and other popular Auckland neighborhoods. The area is also well served by bus routes along Mt Eden Road and Dominion Road, making public transport a convenient budget-friendly choice for getting into the city.



Mount Eden is also a great neighborhood to explore on foot, with local cafés, parks, and dining close by. If you’re planning day trips outside Auckland, having a car can be helpful, but for most central-city stays it isn’t essential.

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.



Key Pick-Up: The keys are securely stored in a lockbox at the property. We’ll send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.



Parking: There is a free off-street carpark at this property. There is also free street parking.

PLEASE NOTE - The driveway is narrow so the off street parking space is not suitable for larger vehicles.



Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the property for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.



Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.



Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay: 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml body wash, 6x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes, but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.



Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.



Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am.



This is a professionally managed property by Zodiak Stays, so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced property.
