Great Property for what we needed, which was a bed to sleep in before an early flight and a place for our car to be safe for the week, will differently use again. Next time would be great to see a booklet of the facilities close buy. Ie what meal places were near etc. Other wise it was perfect for what we needed. Thank you

Needs alot of work arrived at night there where hardly any lights on couldn't find our room .room was so cold heater totally inadequate holes in blankets The airport shuttle was the best thing about the place

3 bdrm apartment was OK. Very spacious. Toilet seat was hanging on by a thread. Benches and dining table were quite sticky. The stove top took a bit of time to figure out how it works becos they dont have any sort of welcome booklet or instruction manual. Also dont use the washig machines or dryer. They dont work well either. Better off going to laundromat. Positive note tho, staff were lovely and serviced the apartment daily.

We stayed for one night prior to an early morning departure. Glad it wasn't more. Free shuttle to airport was appreciated but only running every hour so wasn't convenient. Beds ok but pillows were TERRIBLE. Seriously, fairy floss would be better. Duvet/Doona had no cover so questionable cleanliness. Shower grout needs a good clean to remove mould. Biggest issue was noise and lights all night. Not great for no sleep and a 4am wakeup. Ok if you are desperate. Otherwise no.

Very tried and room smelt when we went in. Arrived late and was no outside lights so fumbling around trying to find the room. Someone could have escorted us. Very expensive for a dated room. Was quiet though and outside grounds were nice.

It was very quiet even though a main road was nearby. Some noisy clients early in the morning though. Not Oakwood’S fault. Altogether really good for an overnight stay before an early flight. Maybe some pamphlets or a phone list of local food places for a quick meal.

This was way overpriced for what we got! No aircon, no door on the bathroom, the fridge froze all of our drinks and my important eyedrops. We had one tiny pottle of milk that wasn't enough for 1 cup of coffee let alone 3 🙄. The outside of our room had bits of rubbish by the door. We won't be staying there again, not for the horrendous price we paid.

Location to the airport, it’s far enough away to not hear the planes take off and land. Very quiet at night he has a swimming pool in property but we didn’t use that facility.

Convenient to have a free shuttle bus collect us from the airport. The bathroom was a bit lacking - no towel rails and no toilet roll holder.

Never staying again. Dirty, uncomfortable, hot, not maintained. There's no TLC, its just a room. Needs a deep clean, rotting floor in parts, windows so dirty, horrible smell coming from under the fridge. Broken tiles, tiny hard couch, dining table was wobbly as, mould on the ceiling in bathroom. Bruh come on, its a bit too much. Honestly the list goes on. To top it off, couldnt even use the front door key as the lock was dodgy, and to wash the dishes there was dish liquid in a drink bottle with a manky az sponge. Hot az f in a two story place. Mattress and pillows uncomfortable az. Such a shame, as we needed a place to chill, enjoy and be comfortable.

Pictures need to be updated rooms were disgusting. Pool was dirty and couldnt be used (in the middle of summer). Lights were broken and hanging off the wall. A room that sleeps 4 people only had 1 tiny fan to cool the room and the rooms were hot and stuffy. Ended up with a refund and staying somewhere else

This is a good place to stay for a night if you need to stopover near Auckland Airport. It isn't near any tourist attractions or near the city centre. But there is a shuttle provided by the establishment to and from the airport. There is also a pool which was welcome after our long trip, our last leg before heading back to Australia. The accommodation is old and a bit worn, but generally functional and the family room had multiple bedrooms which was a nice surprise. Lack of air conditioning is a problem though on hot summer days.

I found the unit 126 we stayed in was dirty. The pool was dirty. Wasn't very inviting, not for the price we paid. Wouldn't be the first place i recommend, but the staff was nice.

Liked free shuttle service , didnt like shower was dirty, no shelf for shampoo etc, only 1 bottle shampoo for 3 guests 1 floor mat no toilet rubbish bin, no face cloths 1 hand towel again 3 of us no toilet paper holder a door would be nice on toilet shower area, no netting curtains, pillows to thin, bed wasn't against wall also hard to move it so it would be more comfy w , no air con, pool and area was dirty. TV not in a great position , reception was terrible nit all channels said were avail, WiFi was unstable, room was very stuffy. Dont think it was worth the amount paid

DISGUSTING
My stay was disgusting for what i had payed it was appalling, room service was M.I.A, unit was not to standard. Being a housing navigator i had noticed a few health and safety issues I haven't decided to rasie this with Auckland council, i will not be returning nor will i let my friends or family l, What a waste of a beautiful property

Will not stay again
Service not great was told normally they supply milk but they ran out. No towel rails or hooks, no toilet roll holder, mold in shower, cockroaches in room, no handle on cupboard and window had no latch and you could reach in and unlock door. Will not stay again

I found this property because it had enough beds for our family, an airport shuttle and a pool. I wish I had looked into the reviews better. The area is a rough part of town. The hotel is old and not very well maintained. The bed linens and towels are new, but the mattresses are old. The carpet smelled like pets. There are people who seem to live there—which is never a good sign. My husband talked to someone who said that his apartment had been broken into—kicked the windows in. Yikes.
