”My sister and I stayed in the Hunter’s Lodge, and were able to visit nearby King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks easily due to its location. LOVED the place. It was a mix of hotel and cabin vibes, with shaded spaces to relax outside and good amenities. It was awesome being next to the restaurant, and they offered options for traveling lunches. The staff were courteous and helpful. When I was sitting in the back patio area, a server asked if I minded if she could smoke there or she could move...

”Posto situato in ottima posizione se si fa una toccata e fuga al Sequoia National Park, visto che è già fuori dal parco e il giorno successivo non si deve perdere tempo a ripartire per altre mete. Bellissima la piscina e il parco verde dietro la struttura. La vasca/doccia e il lavandino in camera a mio avviso sono un po’ scomodi, io preferisco avere sempre tutto in una stanza a parte (opinione personale). ”We were told that there maybe ants after we checked in. There were. Air-conditioning was not useful the room was very hot. I love giving mom and pop establishments a chance. This one needs a little work. It was a place to stay and we had a bed. Thats all I can say!”

Reception oli vaikeasti löydettävissä, sillä se ei ollutkaan hotellilla (johon luonnollisesti menimme ensin) vaan muutama satametriä alempana aluetta, ravintolan yhteydessä. Matkailijalle olisi hyvä mainita, että siellä oleva ravintola (alueen ainut) sulkee ovensa jo klo 20 ja kauppa menee kiinni jo klo 18. Vähältä piti, ettemme olisi saaneet lainkaan ruokaa (koko päivän luonnonpuistoalueen läpi matkustaen, jossa ei ollut ruokailumahdollisuutta ja hyvin...

”Perfect location on the Kaweah River, rapids surging right below the restaurant/deck. Small, independent run hotel from a bygone era...a little long in the tooth but a very pleasant stay. Great staff, great bar, restaurant really does well and the food is excellent. Prices for rooms and the restaurant are pretty high, but understandably given the limited season. Would I ever stay there again? YES...I really enjoyed the place, the food, and the staff.”

”We loved this place, it was like staying on a small farm. The rooms were clean and orderly, the pool was clean and we loved that it went to 9'! There were lots of animals to see, very cute. Upset that the ice machine wasn't working for the HOT weekend we were there, would have really helped. But overall great stay.”

”The cabin was dirty and unsafe. The stair treads were breaking. Inside the furniture was dirty and broken. The curtain rods and curtains were broken. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work, and the shower head was duct taped in place. Duct tape was also used to hold the sliding glass door in place on the back porch. We didn’t feel safe staying there with our children so we left. I do not recommend booking at this property.”

”Very close to kings canyon NP. Hard to find such cheap place with private bath so close to the NP. These are really big houses split into smaller hotel-like rooms. Check Expedia messages on the day of arrival for details, as it took us quite some time to find the right door in the dark when we arrived as we had no cell connection thru the day in Sequoia. Expedia makes it hard to see the message (first emails, then have to login with the silly multi-factor authentication to see the mesage from...

”We had a wonderful stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Sequoia/Kings Canyon in Three Rivers! The little touches, like the complimentary hot chocolate and lemon-infused water, were such a nice surprise. The breakfast had a great selection, and the pool area was clean and relaxing. The location is also very convenient for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We would definitely stay here again!”
