Homey and spacious
This is a very comfortable older home. The views are spectacular and the back yard impeccable but neighboring homes don’t take as much pride. The home offers great beds and furniture is newer and the interior is tastefully decorated. The owner has provided everything you can wish for (bath bombs to spices) and overall it’s a great place to stay.

It was perfect. Our family of four could spread out, relax, and enjoy the gorgeous setting on the Savannah River. Close to downtown, convenient, still quiet. Awesome place to stay.

Absolutely Amazing
I travel three to four times a year, and the reviews are my go to when deciding where to stay. If I could give this property ten stars, I would. Ms. Janienne is the hostest with the mostest! Her property is clean, spacious, and has a million dollar view. The location is perfect. We were a group of ladies meeting for the weekend. Not once did we feel unsafe. We will definitely be back! I have already sent your listing to others because it is truly amazing.

Better than a hotel
We visited family in Evans and found this home to be much superior to staying in hotels as we have done in the past. Home is in a great location with excellent river views. Very impessive list of amenities; more than are disclosed. Owner was very easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful time with family and friends. The house was amazing, check-in was a breeze and the host was very accommodating and easy to reach with any questions I had. The house had everything we needed for our stay and more! If we come back we will definitely hope to stay here again.

Family Christmas Time
Amazing! Our host decorated the house inside and out to include a Christmas tree! She made our family feel like we were home for the holidays. We just added our gifts. The views of the water from the sunroom were breathtaking! It was so relaxing. If our travels bring us back to August, we have a home away from home.

Family Reunion on the River!
My adult children, myself, and my parents came to visit my brother and his family who reside in North Augusta. We wanted a space where we could stay comfortably and also be able to host my brother's family. It was perfect and beautiful, and couldn't have been better stocked!

Great Thanksgiving with family
My wife and I traveled to Augusta to have Thanksgiving with our son, who is stationed nearby at Fort Eisenhower, and his wife. Check in was hassle free, which was nice after a long drive. Janienne was a pleasure to deal with and responded instantly to all questions we had while at the property. The house was and surrounding area was great. My wife loved the kitchen, plenty of room to prepare and serve meals. She had brought everything she needed, but the kitchen was stocked with cookware, spices and pretty much anything you would need. We all enjoyed the outside fire table and sitting areas. My son and I shucked some oysters sitting in the waterside gazebo and watched some football on the big screen. The family took a long stroll on the river walk which is right downhill from the house. Shops, restaurants, and bars are also a short distance away. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving. We will definitely check availability of the river house for our next trip to Augusta.

Riverfront Retreat
This is a spacious, very well provisioned home with all the amenities you could want. Great location with gorgeous river views from the relaxing sunroom and porch. There’s a lovely walking path adjacent to the home perfect for running, walking and biking. We ranged in ages from kindergarten to grandmother and everyone enjoyed their visit. We appreciated the wonderfully equipped kitchen, puzzles, legos, bird feeder and bird book, etc!

The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Enjoying sunsets over the river every night was our favorite part of the trip. I appreciated the extras like different types of coffee makers and staples provided.

Peaceful location
We stayed here with our kids (8, 13, 21) to visit our oldest (25) for a family vacation/get together. It has more then enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. The view is incredible. The kids loved fishing off of the dock and using the binoculars to watch the wildlife. The master bed was plush. The kitchen was well stocked and had access to a pantry of spices etc if needed. Overall, it was a perfect home away from home.

Excellent stay
We had to find a place to stay really quick, and this place was perfect. It was a perfect escape after long hard days. Beautiful view. Great porch. We saw a Monster of an Alligator, Osprey building a nest, Owls, LOTS of turtles, and a Fox!! Janienne was great to work with. We had to change our schedule a couple of times, and she made it easy.

Hallmark Channel Style Vacation
This property was amazing. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean and well stocked. Every need was thought of. Even items I didn't think of were available for use. The stocked pantry was a pleasant surprise. The house is well maintained and situated in a gorgeous spot on the Savannah River. The neighborhood was quiet and the location is well situated for exploring Augusta or just staying in and enjoying a cup of joe in the Sunroom on the 3rd floor. It felt like we were in a Hallmark movie vacation. Just so pleasant and peaceful. If you are looking to get away into another world, Riverhouse, is the place to do that. Janienne is a wonderful host, who responds immediately to any communication, even at 2 am! I did not expect a response at that time, but she was always prompt and she made checking in and out very easy. We took advantage of the puzzles stashed throughout the house. Listened to music on Alexa in the kitchen, and made great use of the kitchen. Everything we could possibly need to cook a Thanksgiving meal was available in the cabinets. This home is comfy, relaxing, well situated and well stocked. To say I was the hero for booking this home is an understatement! The whole family enjoyed their stay. We had 7 adults staying and the spaciousness of the home made it so that we did not feel like we were on top of one another. It was a pleasure staying in Janienne's home and we hope to stay again. Thank you again, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great Weekend Getaway
Our family of 6 stayed here for a wedding weekend in Augusta. Beautiful views from all levels. The house was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. We had everything we needed. I grew up in Augusta, but never spent much time downtown. Enjoyed visiting the shops and restaurants on Broad Street as a tourist and walking along the river.

This house has everything you need for a great stay! Beautiful views and great location with access to the walking trail by the River right down the street! The host is generous with supplies and pantry items, plus books and toys for the kids!! We all felt right at home and made great memories with the kids and grandkids.

Property fit our needs well. Guys liked the fishing part from the pier. Street parking for our work truck was a little challenge but manageable. She told us upfront that our 26' truck would not fit in the driveway. Owner had good communication with us. Would definatedly do it again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Our house is on the Savannah River at a wide point so it kinda looks like a lake at times. We are 30 minutes from the lake.

Beautiful Spot for a Girl's Weekend!
There are five of us who reconnected at our last high school reunion after 45 years. Since then, we try to get together a couple of times a year to catch up and spend time together. This comfortable home with gorgeous views of the river was the perfect spot for us! There are a lot of steps inside and outside to enjoy the beautiful views and access the bedrooms, but we managed! The owner was very accommodating and communicative throughout the reservation process and during our stay. We hope to come back again!

Stayed here for a rectect cooking school in Evans. Awesome location incredible view of the river, super clean. Great for multiple people. Leave a night to sit down by the water and enjoyed the sounds of the river. 5 stars for sure
