I would recommend best western in York beyond any other and would rank it up even above a hotel that cost twice or more the amount! I told the staff that I came up there to complain. He asked what about? I told him I came down to complain and my complaint is I couldn’t find anything to complain about!”

”They made a good effort to remodel. Not my taste. The continental breakfast was really bad. No reasonable person would ever stay there twice. The white bread only option was after toasting was so tough, not eatable - The jelly packets were solid from age. Could not dig them out. The selection of food. Poor. The one cup pour coffee maker made instant coffee. ”

”Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Simple hotel with clean rooms. Breakfast was simple with fruit, toast, bagels, juice and coffee. Young man at the desk was very polite and answered all of our questions.”

”Beautiful new facility. We went to the casino, and had a drink in the bar, and were told we could only pay in cash or with our players card which we didn't have. Very odd. Also was told at the front desk that I couldn't get a copy of my end bill although the other people we were there with did. I just think staff needs some training and/or supervision.”
