”We arrived a few hours before check-in time, and still got our room right away. Great service!
Very beautiful and clean, well equipped place to stay.
The spa was beyond words: sauna, hot tubs, cold beer... Loved it! All worth the money!
And good breakfast - not included in every accommodation in Iceland, this was very nice.”

”We had the most charming stay a the Lake Hotel Gistihusid in Eglisstadir. The room triple room felt like a full on apartment- it was spacious, modern, and cozy. We enjoyed access to the onsite Spa. The staff was responsive and friendly to all of our requests. Breakfast was a highlight- many options, with a lot of Icelandic influence. We dined at the restaurant for two evenings. We found the food delicious and very good value in comparison to other restaurant hotels we ate at in Iceland. Overall...
