”Our room was clean and comfortable. We had shared bathrooms, but we did not find this to be a problem. There was no waiting, and the bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was pretty good. There is a nature path outside that we enjoyed taking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Please note that the walls are thin; fortunately, everything quieted down pretty early and stayed quiet throughout the night. If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay in this part of Iceland and don't mind...

”We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bjarg. The best way to describe our room is homey. We were greeted at the door by the owner (I wish I knew his name) He told us stories about the area, suggested sites to see, told us about when he worked on a fishing vessel... We thoroughly enjoyed listing to his stories. The room, though not very big, was clean, and everything was in good working order. It felt like we were staying with friends at their house. We had a room with an attached bathroom....
