”It was truly the most easy going vacation rental I have ever booked. The owner was friendly and funny when appropriate. For those that actually use a kitchen, the kitchen was stocked with even extras for the curious. The property is in a beautiful neighborhood, the floor to ceiling full length of the livingroom and kitchen make the home view spectuctular - all God and Nature!!! It was just one of those truly lovely place that had a peacefulness to it that made it enchanting. Simply...

Would be 5 stars without hesitation but cooking and eating utensils were not clean across the board and the utensils storage containers had visible good debris and sticky stuff inside them. Something that wouldn't take much work to earn easy 5 stars for most. Property was very cool too!”

”We stayed at the Bird House for my daughter graduation weekend from Texas State University. Great location - peaceful vibe in the pecan trees, yet just 12 minutes from TXST campus. House is cute and has everything we needed (except dishwasher!!). We enjoyed swinging in the porch hammocks, walking the property, and lounging indoors. Definitely a great getaway! ”
