Thus, whole arboretum Garden was created around the Abbey, the valuable work of brother Syméon and his 3 gardeners who must constantly take account of moisture, acid Earth, Earth shaded or full sun, and the needs of each plant. The Abbey : Upon his return from the second crusade, at the end of the year 1149, cardinal Etienne de Bar, Bishop of Metz founded the Abbey of Autrey in which is installed a community of canons regular. Basic Hotel that works well for a few nights.
We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel while we were skiing in Gerardmer. The rooms are basic and serve their purpose. Breakfast was good. Do not order the Pierrade dish in the restaurant. They will serve you raw chicken with cooked French fries.

Arrivée facile grâce a la conciergerie, de même pour le départ!Les hôtes ont été très gentils via e-mail, le chalet est très bien placé pour les access au ski alpin et pas très loin des pistes de fond.Un seul petit bémol, si le chalet à côté est loué à des zozos, il faudra appeller la gendarmerie ...
