”I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!”

”The staff was very helpful when I change my stay from 3 night to 2 nights. They also were nice enough to change me from a 2nd floor room to the first floor when they found out that I was having a knee replacement. The ebening after my surgery my sister went to the Bar/Restaurant and was able to get us someting to eat which was very good. The morning we were checking out we ate the continental breakfast which was just what I needed and it was all freshly made. Over all we enjoyed our stay at the...

”The rooms were very clean and quiet. Beds were very comfy. I appreciated the well-lit parking lots. The lack of an elevator wasn't the worst. But when entering through the door closest to my room the step up was unusually high and could be an obstacle to someone with mobility issues. Staff were friendly and accommodating. For a quick and inexpensive place to stay it was perfect.”

”Only it's isolation from other attractions, restaurants etc. is really a disadvantage. Cazenovia NY is about 30 minutes away and is a lovely village with many attractions.”

”There was a musty smell in the room. It might not have bothered most people, but as someone with asthma and allergies, I noticed it affected my breathing. Otherwise, the room was fine. The bed was comfortable and the blackout drapes also helped me get a good night's sleep.”

”The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen. If you like to sleep in, this is not the room for you due to breakfast noise. The breakfast was good and timely. There was a hot option (bread pudding and chicken and herb sausage)...

”Receptionists didn't found our reservation and didn't give internet code to show it. Finally after 30 minutes found it and got the rooms. Internet was not working, receptionists claim it's ok but needs again an other 30 minutes to prove not! Reboot the system and start working. Please avoid if find some other hotel. Visit regular on area, but next time go an other place. Location near shopping and restaurants good, but service very starnge in US.”

”Although the rooms were clean staff was very rude. The first lady at the front desk we spoke with was very nice and helpful. However, the second lady that took the first lady stop was very rude, disrespectful, and rolled her eyes when we asked to get a shuttle to the resort. I dont know her name but she has a limp when she walks. I dont see myself coming back here because I refuse to spend my money at a place with rude staff.”

”Driving from Michigan to New Hampshire I was looking for a convenient, affordable place to stop for the night. Located right off the NY Thruway in Utica, this was the perfect place. Clean, cheap, and quiet. Discovering Willie’s Bagel Cafe at the motel entrance was a bonus! The veggie omelette and fresh coffee were the fuel I needed to get back on the road. Be sure to go early, they get busy around 8.”
