âMaison Charmaine lives up to its name â a charming, peaceful, and delightful retreat. Madame Christine is a wonderful hostess, warm, engaging, and full of captivating stories that make every moment more memorable. The house is impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The beautiful garden adds even more to the charm, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. A truly special place to relax and enjoy the heart of the French countrysideâ
âThis is a stunning hotel in the center of town run by a lovely, kind and welcoming family. A true taste of France! The hotel was super clean and grounds absolutely gorgeous. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. â
âPretty basic Ibis hotel, if you have seen one, you have seen them all. Decent room, not much of a breakfast and an okay restaurant downstairs, so it'll do its job for one or two nights. There is not much to see or to do around the hotel so it's alright if you're on a business trip, but it's not exactly a holiday destination.â
âIt was a really delightful place lots of different places to sit outside and inside and lovely individual rooms
so much attention to detail
The diner and breakfast were first classâ
âWe had an amazing experience in our stay at ChĂąteau Picol. It is very beautiful, very well maintained and decorated with amazing antiques and art. In addition you will be hosted by Christian, very kind and gently owner that will tell nice histories about the castle. Even arriving so late, they prepare us a delicious dining with a local AOC wine. â
âCannot praise this highly enough - second visit and it gets better every time. Wonderful welcome, TabledâHote meal, tranquility and accommodation. Completely faultless. Highly recommended. â
âHaving read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. The menu is expensive but if you are at all foody, go for it. It was delicious. If you are more budget-orientated there's a bistro just...
âThe Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed.
A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marieâs home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines.
The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower.â
