We had a pleasant drive to Todi and learned some history of the area. when we arrived at the house the cleaning lady was ill so there was a substitute. ”Wij waren met twee gezinnen, 11 personen in het totaal. Er waren genoeg slaapkamers en het zwembad is groot genoeg. Jammer genoeg zijn de keukens en badkamers zeer oud en zijn er veel dingen die niet werken, zoals de waterkoker, de oven beneden en de buitendouche. Alles is aan vernieuwing toe. De eigenaar is wel behulpzaam en is perfect bereikbaar.”

”The pool area is exactly like the picture. A real oasis. This house is for those who like originality. Its layout is unusual and the deco is superbly personal. So many touches that made us smile and feel happy. The house was delightful - very comfy, two big lovely double bedrooms (one very private), a small twin room very private, lots of little areas to sit down and read a book. The downstairs kitchen is a bit dark and damp so not a space we used. You have to be willing to walk down to the pool...

”Veronica was a very kind host. The property is one of the finest we have stayed at in Italy. As per other visitors comments, the roads are narrow, a car the size of a Golf is an ideal size. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, plenty of lounge space and terraces outside. It is situated is what could only be described as a large park, the landscaping is massive. Very rural location, you will have to drive for any facilities. Recommended if you want a quiet holiday.”

Het huis was kraakhelder en de bedden waren opgemaakt met gestreken linnen en er was voldoende linnengoed aanwezig. Het linnengoed werd in overleg iedere week verwisseld. De gastheer en zijn vrouw waren zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Beginnende met een fles lokale wijn en een zelfgebakken crostata bij aankomst. Het huis ligt op een berg op 700 meter hoogte.
