”This hotel is very unique - in an old cardinal's residence located in Villeneuve just west across the river from Avignon. Despite being in a substantial old stone building full of character, the rooms were very comfortable, clean, etc. The hotel also has a beautiful garden area with terrace overlooking the river. Parking is on the street next to the hotel, but very safe. The staff are friendly, efficient, and helpful, provided dining recommendations and introduced us to Villeneuve, which is...

”A great quite location super conveniently located just outside St. Michel Gate, so it worked very well as a retreat from the Festival. The host was very warm, personable and accommodating. A jacuzzi in the room was a great amenity after long days of walking on cobblestone, and the living room was a comfortable place to get work done during the days.”

”We stayed for 4 AMAZING days/nights! Brian was the BEST host and accommodated all of our needs! He prepared meals all 4 nights that were 5 start quality! Offering cocktails prior to dinner and wine with dinner made it so easy. Our bed was the most comfortable and the room smelled like lavender!! We rode his bicycles into Avignon Centre and it took 15 min. This location is so close to so many other “must see” towns!! ”
