”We had a wonderful time. The staff, the other guests, all added to our experience. Easy walking to downtown. The breakfasts were incredible. I would stay there again when we return to St. Augustine.”

”Parking was super easy and free, room was comfy, bed was amazing! Ac could have been better, we fought with it all night to try and cool down the room. We ended up asking for a box fan at front desk but they didnt have one. They graciously gave us their small fan so we could use it to sleep! ”

”Possibly the freshest-smelling, comfiest bed I've slept in. We enjoyed three nights here on spring break. The breakfast & happy hour deliveries were the cherry on top! So nice to return to after exploring the city or the beach (5-10 min away). The staff were so accommodating to us. Our trip coincided with a cold snap — so the comfy couches & lounge areas upstairs on the deck were just the place. Hope to return!”

”The room was very clean, Looks like a recent remodel. It was cool the night we stayed, so I can’t comment on the A/C, but it is a wall mounted window unit. ”

”Breakfast was fabulous as was the location. Easy 5 minutes or less walk to a lot of attractions. Nice welcome email with door codes and WiFi password. The front door code wasn’t working so I could not access the interior of the building. I called the number on the front door and Kim talked me thru an alternate way to access my room. It was fixed by the night before I checked out. The B and B was recently purchased by new owners who I’m sure are working out some stuff. I would stay here again....

”It was a very cozy stay, with an incredible location! With shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Would highly recommend!”

”Unfortunately the fire alarm went off.We were in a handicap room. They did not have a plan. Security was to assist it but there was no security at that time of day.They were nonchalant since they knew there was no fire. Guest s did not know that and there is no PA system.If there was a fire it could have been disastrous. Hotel is fine and respects the era. ”

”Our second time staying at Budget Inn! It’s a little piece of 50’s nostalgia with some modern updates. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk attendant was super friendly and helpful. Less than a 2 mile drive to Anastasia State Park.”

”Poor experience the facility is new and its well maintained. But the lack of concern from the staff is rather concerning. It willl be Hilton next time”

”Overall really nice, the room have a little smell to it, we added fresh era, and I believe adding breakfast would be pretty nice, given the rate. Other than that, it’s a great place ”

”AC was fine, beds and pillows not that good. The bathroom was a big issue. Extremely tight space between shower and toilet. Had to leave the toilet room door open to avoid feeling so so tight. However, the location is perfect. A few steps and you're in the historic center. The trolley stop is outside the hotel, and the view of the bay was amazing.”
