”Well I appreciated the bigger than normal Italian shower, thank you, but there seems to be an aversion to having soap holders in the actual showers, 4 th place in a row on my Italian sojourn without a soap holder, basic but tasty breakfast reasonable choice, property set in an orange grove, enjoy the animals roaming around, good for kids and a break from high density Italian cities, yes I liked it there and would recommend.”

”Would recommend - super clean, comfortable, pool is lovely. We had a two bed room, with a mezzanine upstairs and sofa bed downstairs, which was perfect for a family of 3. Breakfast had a range of options to suit most and we certainly felt full afterwards. Supermarket is about 10 minutes away, beautiful beaches and other towns 20-30 min away. We’d definitely come back! ”

Ho però dovuto rilevare due carenze sinceramente inspiegabili: nonostante le temperature di giorno siano decisamente miti per il periodo (6 novembre), di notte scendono sotto i 16 gradi e trovo inadeguato non avere a disposizione una coperta supplementare. ”Amazing stay here! The staff go above and beyond to make your holiday perfect! Our room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The pool area was so relaxing that we did not leave the property every day. Italo cooked us some excellent meals and , on the days we ate away from the hotel, his recommendations for meals were very good. We would be happy to return!”

”place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...

”Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Most of the ingredients were from the farm. The dinners more than met expectations. Each evening meal was delicious, and no dish was repeated during our 3 night stay. From the appetizers to the limoncello, all was wonderful. Everything was served with a friendly smile and explanation. One of us is vegetarian and they happily accommodated. Here you will find a working farm with friendly service, clean accommodations and a wonderful atmosphere.”

Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we had a problem they responded immediately. As for this area of Sicily there is lots to do. Beach lovers are well catered for and there are plenty of possibilities for hikers. ”Wir haben einen großartigen Urlaub dort verbracht. Der Gastgeber war einfach zu kontaktieren und immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Dank des herrlichen Pools konnten wir uns nach der Mittagshitze gut abkühlen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist zweckmäßig und entspricht dem dortigen Standard. Alles war perfekt sauber und gut vorbereitet. Es sind auch viele Supermärkte in Sichtweite. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.”

”House has a pool and access onto the beach. It has fantastic outdoor space with lovely terrace and hammocks etc. We spent our time outside and it was lovely. Great bbq area too. The rooms are small but doesn’t really matter if you’re outside the whole time. National Park with canyon nearby an absolute winner. It’s a must if you stay here. Also ask Nella to cook for you one night - she made us a Sicilian feast which lasted for days!”
