  • Now is the time to have your dream vacation in this fabulous home. This Kinnakeet Shores beauty is a winner with two spacious screened porches. One is ready for twilight dining with a large picnic table, while the other beckons you to relax in its bubbly hot tub. Furnished decks will provide great places to relax and catch some magnificent views of the ocean, sound, and Avon Pier!

    Comfortable furnishings complement a delightful third-level great room, along with outstanding ocean views. Additional great views can be seen from the fourth-level sitting area. Plenty of entertainment options are on hand with a first-level media room with TV and four other TVs, two VCRs, five DVD players, a stereo/CD player, and PlayStation 2 and 3. You'll also find a basketball hoop outside for shooting some hoops. Two main bedrooms and three additional bedrooms provide the perfect place to take a quick nap and recharge your batteries.

    Stroll to the beach on the boardwalk adjacent to the house. Enjoy the 11' x 27' private pool with poolside furniture and its convenient poolside bathroom. The BBQ will be ready to fire up the catch of the day. All of these amenities add up to one spectacular vacation home. Visit Patti's Place today and let the fun begin!

    Things to Know
    The private pool is open seasonally from 4/26/2025 and closes 10/12/2025. Dates are subject to change.

    The fireplace is not for guest use.
    You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

My family loved the layout of the house along with the nautical decor. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach…and the convenience of the pool. Had a blast in the hot tub. Enjoyed shopping and eating dinner out in Avon. Would stay at Patti’s Place again.

Great vacation at Patti's Place

Location was amazing, right on the beach and next door to the public beach access which meant a nice wooden boardwalk to easily get on and off the beach. The house was well furnished with plenty of room and seating for our entire group to hang out together either inside or outside on the upper deck and to have family style meals together at the large dining table. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Family House

We loved this house two years ago, and loved it again this year! This is an ideal house for a large family or several families vacationing together because of its well-stocked kitchen, bedroom arrangements, pool, hot tub, and upper level full of books and games. Accessibility to the beach, groceries, gas, and beach gear is a plus.

Great seaside vacation spot!

My family and I spent a week at Patti's Place. This was an amazing week of fun and sun. The house was warm and welcoming and clean throughout. It was very spacious and had a lot of additional details we were not expecting in the kitchen like crockpots and a blender. The location was beautiful with just steps to the beach. The hot tub and heated pool were a great escape when we just wanted to spend some private home lounging time.

Beautiful view

On the beach location. Many decks that lead to outside. Big floor to ceiling windows In great room. Very nice. Great location for water sports. Having a pool right there on the beach was fantastic. Also the very sturdy fence around the pool was a good wind breaker against the April weather. Loved the heated pool. Will definitely come again. We had a great time. A lot of fun and relaxation.

The amazing view and easy beach access are perfect. The house could use some TLC, especially by the end of the season. A deep clean and a bit of repair. The front right stove burner does not work as mentioned in other reviews, a moldy shower curtain (Vacasa was advised but it was not addressed). Overall though, despite the flaws a great house for a family. Nice restaurants, charming area.

Family Vacation

The location and layout of house was wonderful. The bedrooms were as listed and beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and great to use. Access to the beach was wonderful and so close! The online exterior pictures need to be updated. Our main complaint is that two of the stove burners did not work and I contacted the management three times to ask for a repair and also saw that in a previous review 2022 this was an issue as well. This was not fixed during our stay.

Nice location but home was not serviced or well maintained.

The homes location was great, but the home was left dirty. The pool was left with a lot of sand in it. The WIFI did not work on the day of arrival since the router was broken and we had to wait until the next day for service. Kitchen cookware was not in great shape. Dishwasher took forever to run. The stove had one large burner. Maintenance came out to fix and it worked one day. The home needs updated appliances or reduce the price of the rental.

The house has great potential, however some things in the description are not accurate (no screened in porches, only 1 game system). My main complaint is the fact that it was DIRTY. The outside bathroom was not cleaned at all, hot tub full of sand when we got there and only had enough chlorine for 2 days, cleaning products left on the counter, sand on the floor and carpets. It was like they started cleaning but never finished. We won’t be renting through Vacasa again.

Pattis Place

My kids and grands vacationed in Avon OBX for a week. We were very nervous booking online but our house was perfect. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. Pattis house was decorated so perfect and it was a beautiful home. (5 bedrooms and 5 baths, a pool and a hot tub. There was so many balconies to wake up and see the ocean. I love that it was on the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The dining table and bar seating made it nice to all have dinner together. There was also a deck off of the kitchen with a picnic table too. There were plenty Of supplies and linens and a washer and dryer. There was also a l game area with 2 game systems and plenty of games. There were puzzles and board games . Movies… My favorite room was the loft or reading room. It is stocked with a variety of books. The house was very clean upon our arrival. I highly recommend this house and we will again. Thanks for sharing this beautiful home as we had a perfect vacation in paradise .
