You might say that Avon is the hub of the Vail/Beaver Creek/Bachelor's Gulch/Arrowhead world. Avon's major grocery store, library, convenience stores, and restaurants are within walking distance. Falcon Point features excitement for everyone--whether you like to go downhill skiing, board, ice skate, cross country ski, or enjoy dining, and shopping. And nowhere is better situated for convenience and affordability as well as amenities as Falcon Point, located in beautiful Avon, Colorado. The free Avon skier/shopping shuttle is just next door. If you wish to ski, shop, or dine in Vail, the shuttle is only $4 and eliminates any need for finding and paying for parking. We normally put our SUV in Falcon Point's heated underground parking garage when we arrive and never move it until we leave. The garage also includes private lockable ski lockers, boot dryers, and an elevator to our floor--easy for packing and unpacking--warm and dry--no matter the weather.
Our unit was recently remodeled and is a large one bedroom condominium featuring a wood burning fireplace and a balcony facing the mountains, Lake Nottingham, and tennis courts--beautiful view! The resort has extra bundles of firewood available and delivers it to your room so that you can enjoy a crackling fire every night. Our condo sleeps up to four people, with a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, and one bathroom with tub and shower. It has a 42" TV in the living room and another nice sized TV in the master bedroom. There is a fully furnished kitchen with granite countertops, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and dishwasher.

Falcon Point Resort offers many amenities which include an indoor outdoor heated pool and hot tubs, large gathering lounge with billiards, game tables, TV etc., on site laundry and concierge. All of the professionally remodeled condominiums feature cable television, DVD players, telephones, and free wireless internet access. Falcon Point condominiums' furnishings and amenities, as well as the friendly and helpful staff, make it a comfortable and affordable home-away-from-home.
