Outside shower was clean (even has a mirror) and underside of house was set up for rainy days and was clean and comfortable (except for mosquitoes which we all must learn to live with). ”On our way down, the owner contacted us to tell us that the previous guest had broken the stove. They asked if it was ok to come replace it and they compensated us with lunch for interrupting our visit, which was not necessary, but grateful for the awesome pizza! They are extremely friendly and it was a great location. The kids loved all of the different rooms and especially the loft and balconies. If ever in the Outer Banks again, we will definitely reach out to them.”

”We stayed with 3 of our grown children during the early Spring. Sunset Cottage offered exactly the right location for easy water sport access on the Sound side and walking distance to town, beach, or the pier. The perfect size for family. Loved the shady option of the ground level covered deck. All aspects of decor and amenities were covered and Merle was quick to reply to any questions. Thanks for making of family holiday smooth and enjoyable.”
