Escape to our cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Eastern Townships. Ideally located just 20 minutes from Mont Orford’s hiking trails, 5 minutes from picturesque Lake Massawippi, and a short drive from the vibrant town of Magog, the Wood Loft offers a warm and unique getaway. With easy access to nearby attractions and only 1.5 hours from Montreal, it’s the perfect destination for remote workers seeking a change of scenery or anyone craving a peaceful retreat.

The Wood Loft is part of our charming Ayer’s Barn, featuring a unique design and filled with natural light. Though modest in size (450 square feet), it’s fully equipped for a comfortable stay and radiates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Located in the heart of Ayer’s Cliff village, the Wood Loft is just steps away from local amenities, including a grocery store, summer farmer’s market, butcher shop, SAQ, and cozy cafĂ©s and restaurants. While you may occasionally hear passing trucks during the day, evenings are usually quiet and perfect for a restful night.

Discover the beauty of the region year-round, with nearby attractions like Lake Massawippi, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Foresta Lumina, and Mont Orford National Park. For a relaxing day, unwind by the shores of Ayer’s Cliff Lake or treat yourself to a visit at the Spa Nordic Station.

Our retreat is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for work or play, including:

Host with the Most

Guillaume and Julette are warm and very ready to work with their guests. The apartment is inviting and has all we need. The neighborhood is lovely and the property itself is gorgeous! We have stayed here more than once already.

It is a very good place to visit Ayers Cliff but my fault I didn’t pay attention at the pictures and didn’t notice the latter to access the bed been 66 and older was risky for us to climb up there and forgot to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night , for younger people it’s perfect loft but older think about it The owners are great and very helpful Enjoy

C’est remarquablement bien centrĂ© ce qui nous permet d’explorer la rĂ©gion, Magog, Standstead, North Hartley, etc

Great stay in Ayer's Cliff

Very adorable and clean place located right in town. On the main road, but set back so the traffic wasn't too loud. Conveniently located near the center of town, well-stocked store within walking distance. The place had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, which turned out to be a widespread issue that the owners were very responsive and communicative about. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!

Cozy loft in Ayer's Cliff

Lovely, quiet, private and well appointed! Everything needed for a weekend escape from the city. The fire pit was the reason we chose it, but it provided both indoor and outdoor enjoyment! Plenty of books, TV with all the streaming, places to eat and enjoy a game of cards, cozy bed loft, well thought out kitchen equipment and tools... and attentive and helpful hosts. Perfect place to rest and recharge!

Bel hébergement et service impeccable

Bel hĂ©bergement, propre et beau design RĂ©ponses trĂšs rapides des propriĂ©taires lorsque nous avions des questions. Nous avons mis cinq Ă©toiles pour la localisation pour ceux qui souhaite ĂȘtre au cƓur des activitĂ©s touristiques. L'avantage est par contre d'ĂȘtre tranquille lorsqu'on revient Ă  l'hĂ©bergement. Cozy ,comfy , and clean

Notre week-end Ă©tait parfait! Et cela mĂȘme si il a plut les deux jours et que nous n'avions pas d'auto... TrĂšs beau loft, impeccable, tout est Ă  la portĂ©e. TrĂšs calme mĂȘme si prĂšs d'une route. Petit village charmant avec toutes les commoditĂ©s.Le resto-bar de l'Auberge sert d'excellents repas. Par contre l'Ă©chelle pour aller Ă  la mezzanine pose un petit problĂšme pour une personne ĂągĂ©e. C'est le seul petit hic! La causeuse pourrait ĂȘtre remplacĂ©e par un divan-lit et ce serait bien. Merci Ă  Guillaume et Juliette. Nous reviendrons sĂ»rement... À bientĂŽt!

Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce loft chaleureux. TrÚs bien situé avec une superbe cour! Tout était à proximité et vous ne manquerez de rien car il y a tout ce qu'il vous faut dans le loft. Les propriétaires répondent rapidement aux questions. Je recommande!

Lovely stay!

Had a lovely stay! Home was adorable, clean, and cozy. Host was very responsive and helpful! Slept great in the loft - you do need to use a ladder but it’s sturdy and we could sit up in the loft area comfortably. Would certainly recommend!

Great little tiny home

I stayed 8 nights and it was well situated close to so many attractions, groceries, restaurants, cafe and 20 minutes from other cute villages. The home was cozy and had everything I needed and more. Guillaume was responsive and thoughtful. I wish that the beach were truly accessible by foot but I think for safety reasons it would not have been a good idea to walk it

Lovely place with impractical bed

It was a pleasure communicating with Guillaume. The space is as cute as the photos. It is very comfortable for 2 people. However the bed in the loft is an issue. There are no railings and it is impossible for the person on the far side of the ladder to get out without climbing over the other person.

Belle découverte! Acceuil parfait des propriétaires avec un suivi pendant le séjour. Le loft est tel que sur les photos, douillet, trÚs propre et bien équipé. Je n'ai manqué de rien. Le petit village est trÚs cute et la piste de randonnée est à 2 min a pied. Le seul bémol est le passage des gros camions le jour seulement en semaine, mais comme je quittais pour faire de la rando, je les ai peu entendu. Merci pour ce beau séjour ressourcant.
