”Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday.”

”Full of character - friendly welcoming staff. Great comfy four poster bedroom. Lovely fresh pub food and a wonderful hearty breakfast. A lovely beer garden so peaceful in a picture perfect village.”

”Not what was advertised premium room was very understated, no chairs to view TV we had to lay on the bed. The window had a dresser in front obscuring the view. The inn was closed when we arrived 2pm left waiting for 20 minutes as no one was answering the phone, the entrance was very poorly maintained the bench at the door was obviously used for smo”

”Great location and the room was really nice. We stayed in a heatwave and there was just a fan in the room and no aircon, so sleeping was a real problem. Wi-fi in the room wouldn't connect. Definitely go back when it's a bit cooler!”

”The location in Morton-in-marsh was excellent. Our room was small but adequate for 2 nights. We ate in the pub and the food was good, although it's a shame they don't provide breakfast. The pub was very quiet and closed at 9.30pm so there was a lack of atmosphere. But it was fine as a base for a couple of days.”
