”We are from NYC and stop at The Jefferson every year on our annual pilgrimage to the beach in SC. How lucky we are that The Jefferson is the midway point. The expansive spaces and smiling faces are exactly what weary travelers need after a nine hour drive! The Jefferson truly is exceptional.”

”Clean and good location other than noise. It’s on the corner of a busy road so there was some traffic noise. Not sure why Expedia is prompting for balcony review since there wasn’t one in my 2 queen room.”

”Super cute atmosphere. We enjoyed the decor and unique art. Overall, the room was clean, but some things were in disrepair (exhaust fan and light in bathroom). The food was good, but the kitchen and dining service was lackluster. It was our first time to Richmond, so we didn’t know what to expect, the neighborhood is a mixed bag.”

”Don't get me wrong....the staff was wonderful, clean room and convenient location....but paper thin walls and struggles with heating and air conditioning. The breakfast was "pretty good".”

”Historic is one way to describe it... dated another. The rooms are dark, dreary. The property is hard to access due to surrounding construction which furthers the issues. I was invaded by Security as I had just stepped out of the shower and was in the bedroom and I heard the door open. I called out and then frantically threw some clothes on to find a man standing in the door saying "Is the shower leaking as the room downstairs called to say they had a leak". It was 4 in the afternoon. I had...

”For the price we paid, the amenities did not meet our expectations. Breakfast was not included, and not even complimentary bottled water was provided. There was no on-site parking available, so we had to park on the street. Additionally, the beds were very small and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, we expected a much better experience for the price”

”Staff was amazing. Location was perfect. Hotel was clean. Valet was quick retrieving our vehicle. There were two areas within the gym where the ceiling was leaking & buckets were set up to catch the water.”
