”Nice and comfortable hotel.”

”Staff was great, room was super-clean, breakfast was fine. The building itself is small and we were on the first floor and could hear people coming and going.”

”Lovely room”

”Beautiful spot. Nice common area with fire, nice to meet other travelers. Host was very accommodating.”

”Aivan huikeat maisemat ja hieno kokonaisuus! Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä, avuliasta ja miellyttävää.”

”Looks brand new. Very clean plenty of parking. Would stay again”

”I enjoyed this motel as it felt like it’s maintained professionally (which can’t be said of many motels). It’s clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful. Restaurants, mall and train station nearby. Would recommend.”

”Erittäin siisti, kotoisa huone. Aamiainen piti laittaa itse, mutta aamiaistarpeet niukat. Ei tuoremehua, ei kinkkua, ei juustoa.”

”Beautiful old convent reinvented to a unique hotel with so much character. We walked 5 mins into the little town to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail. We only stayed one night but it was lovely and very clean.”

However, please note that the economy studio has one tiny high window, but is essentially a windowless block bunker under the back of the building. There is no natural ventilation, light or outlook. ”Good hotel in downtown Auckland. Room was nice, so were the people. Wry small lobby space and we weren’t allowed into the bar because of a private event. We went down to the Marriot one block away… much nicer and bigger lobby space”

”The location was great close by sky city. The room was clean but pretty basic. The restaurant had nice menu but the breakfast was mediocre. The road noise was quite loud coming from the street in front of the hotel. Also they held the credit card authorization for a month. And it was supposed to be released in few days.”

”Lovely hotel. The upgraded room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Wonderful suprise after long travel. The service upon arrival was friendly and cheerful—I felt truly welcome. The laundry room was a big plus. Breakfast was à la carte. I enjoyed having breakfast served at the table, but I found myself wishing for more variety—like filled sandwiches, fresh vegetables, and fruits. I was also surprised that it wasn’t possible to order fruit even for an extra charge. Fresher options would be a...

”Great location close to Viaduct restaurants and waterfront. Retro vibes are fun with spacious rooms and clean amenities. We will be back again!”
