Majatalot – Bacalar

”Very clean and nice hotel. Properly different from most other hotels. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast was sufficient but no yoghurt and just one cup of coffee.”

”We didn’t have a lot of time in Bacalar and wanted to stay by the lake somewhere relaxed. Amainah was nice and comfortable new hotel with beautiful views. All the staff members were friendly and helpful, especially Jonathan and others in the restaurant. We were happy with our choice to stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. ”

”Very nice place at the lake. The room (a junior suite) was kind of nice but very impractical: there were no closets or drawers to put the clothes and other stuff into, no desk or chairs in the room, there was no internet in the room and even in the main building it was very slow, the TV had no TV channels and there were ants in our room.”

”A lovely, relaxing spot. What really stood out was the staff—they were exceptionally attentive and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was straightforward but satisfying, providing great fuel for active days. The lagoon setting is gorgeous, and having direct kayak access along with a handy shop right next door made the entire experience seamless”

”La cocina magnífica y las habitaciones hermosas”

”Amaranto Hotel is in an great location. It is close to Cenote Azul and Cenote Cocalitos, and it is not too far from Cenote Esmeralda. Cenote Azul was an easy walk for me, and I think it is one of the nicest cenotes with a good restaurant. Speaking of restaurants, the one inside Amaranto serves really good food and breakfast is free! You can also get free beach towels from the restaurant staff. The private pool and dock are close to the restaurant. The private dock is very nice. You can lounge...

”I have stayed at Poza Clara Sanctuary several times, and it is the best small hotel in Bacalar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast is delicious, substantial, with plenty of options. The garden and pool area is beautiful and relaxing. It is in walking distance to the lagoon and center of town. I highly recommend this charming little sanctuary, and I will certainly return.”

”Very relaxing environment We loved our stay”

”Lugar espectacular”
