”Staff were really friendly and helpful. Place was clean and our room was spacious. Breakfast was simple and we were well catered for. We were able to park on the morning of check-in, so we could go for a wander and then check-in later. Hotel is an easy 15 minute walk from Ambleside and it's various amenities.”

”Everything here is brand new, in a very old manor. We spent considerable time with two of the three managers while we were there, and found them to be incredibly accommodating and kind. The room was wonderful. Spacious and clean, bed very comfortable, bathroom lovely. The bar downstairs in the old wine cellar is a vibe.
