"Motel One Hamburg Airport is a quality hotel just 17min walk away from the Airport. Bed, pillows and other features in the room are fine and pleasant, quaranteeing a good nights sleep and the room is air conditioned. The Wlan works, which is a great . It is very pleasant to stay in the good looking and smartly designed room. Bathroom is comfortable. Staff is friendly. The lobby / lounge area is stylish with nice chairs to sit down for a drink or chatting. The bar has an absurdly wide selection of Gins and other alcohol bewerages. 5-10mins walk nearby is a grocerie shop EDEKA, an extended Tankstelle, and a couple of decent restaurants. There is also a very good looking, big gym nearby, but im not sure if they offer daily tickets for travellers. The breakfast is nothing special and also overly priced as usual in many hotels. The website promotes an exclusive variety of quality food products from different corners of the world. This, of course, is far away from the truth. The breakfast includes the bare basics; mainly white bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, muesli, pieces of cucumber, tomatoe and spreads etc. But also nice croissants and some sweets pasteries. The 2 coffee machines work and offer a decent cup of coffee. The stylish enviroment is very pleasant. I highly recommend this mid-price quality hotel for your stay before the upcoming flight. I will definetly come back."

"Arrived early in the evening. Parked the car next to the building in the yard where other cars were parked too. In check-in learned that parking only on the street, not in the yard, and that water bottles are only for those guests who booked directly with the hotel. I assume it was the same with parking but they did not explain. So not me. The room had the twin bed as requested, but that was all; it was probably the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. No A/C either. Later in the evening went for a walk and the neighborhood did not feel safe. There were young men (Middle-East or Turkey) here and there and I felt I was the only "Caucasian" in the picture. Got stares. Later in the evening heard a lot of sirens, and one loud bang outside. Dont know what that was. Breakfast was rather minimalist. The only warm dish was "industrial grade" scrambled eggs."
