”Just like the picture. Vince was great at check in. Recommended great restaurants in Beddeck. We ate at the Seafood family restaurant. Excellent. Had the steak dinner. Coffee and tea in room. Great location.”

”Liked: The beds were very clean and one of the most comfortable that I’ve slept in. The cement walls meant you barely heard your neighbours except when they opened/closed the door. The heat pump was great to adjust temp/cooling. The rate was a really great value. There was plenty of hot water. What could use some work: Some of the towels looked dingy and had stains. They should be replaced, it’s not a welcoming visual even if the rest of the linens were clean. The satellite TV lost...

”The room was dirty, stained/dirty sheets, floor unswept, not washed, bathroom tub surround dirty. Windows to the view were dirty. Hotel was not as pictured in the advertisement. Furniture is outdated and paint is chipping off. Tv came on but no cable or apps worked, nothing to watch. We were given a second room after complaining about the first one. The second one was better, but the sheets were still very old and the floor need to washing. Staff were nice and helpful, great view”

”What a beautiful spot to stay. Lovely motel and wonderful staff. The view was beautiful and the rooms so clean and well kept. We had an issue with the A/C and they fixed it quickly. They also said if the couldn’t we could change rooms. So incredibly helpful and quick to fix things! Wonderful and would recommend 100%”

”Innkeeper was friendly and helpful at check in. Motel is small and showing its age. Exterior entrance door featured a wood block addition apparently to repair a prior forced entry. The advertised lake view out of the back entry door is blocked by the owner’s expansion into large tent units. Staying here was okay but humbling.”

”On site launderette was a big plus. Room was very nice and spacious, with 2 big comfortable beds. Only downside was that TV didn't work and the water could have been a bit hotter in the morning.”

”The room was in an older building that had a strange smell. When we checked in, they recommended we have breakfast at the restaurant on the property (Lakeside restaurant). It was a buffet style breakfast which they charged $20 a person for. We went at 9:30 and there was barely anything left, and on top of that the fruit platter had moldy strawberries and pineapple on it.
