”Domes are a newly added addition to the Baddeck Hotel, and private washrooms are being worked on and are under construction. The current bathrooms are in a private room in the hotel and are clean. Highway noise from the NS HWY 105 was loud. The dome was great, just needs a privacy shade for the glass entry door. Many heaters are included to keep you warm during the winter, and a heat pump is available for A/C in the summer. Overall, I had a good stay. The experience is bound to get better when...

”We had booked in to the Baddeck Domes for our stay but they were not finished being built. This was very disappointing for us. The owner made it right by giving us a full refund for the Domes. We then stayed in the Baddeck motel. The room was tiny, there was mold on the curtains, but the beds were clean and comfortable enough. It looks like they may be doing some renovations on the motel. The staff was the best part of the stay. ”

I tried calling reception multiple times, but no one answered to address our concerns. The views are nice thanks to the surrounding nature, but overall there’s a lot that needs improvement.”

”My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!”
