”Generally okay for backpackers or budget travelers, as long as you don’t have a bug phobia. The rooms were relatively clean, although the white towels were stained. The AC worked really well. The beach and the beach bar were really nice and the suset view was amazing! We stayed for one night and had five rooms — all of them had huge (I mean 4+ cm) cockroaches, spiders, or both. There wasn’t any proper bug spray available at the time. Would I stay here again? I could, depending on my budget...

”Wir bezeichnen das Blue Orchid als ein "Wohlfühlhotel". Dabei schätzen wir besonders die familiäre Atmosphäre und die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Schnorchelausflüge konnten unkompliziert gebucht werden, wobei Schnorcheln auch vom Strand aus möglich ist. Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und inmitten von viel Grün serviert. Wir schätzen auch die ruhige Lage in einem gepflegten Garten.”

”Very large and nice clean property. The young man who got us settled was very respectful and helpful. Air conditioning worked great. Showers were nice and clean. We were on the go all the time so we disn't really use the kitchen or a lot of the other space, but a great stay.”
