”This was a nice enough property. There was an issue with the plumbing though. The water temperature in the shower would suddenly change to very cold then go immediately to scalding hot then regulate to the original temp then start the cycle all over again.
We did get a letter stuck to our door saying they were having some work done on our final day between 10am-8pm with recommendations to shower before 10am otherwise if you were scalded, that was not their fault. A whole day without the use of...

Floor of the bathroom was a bit sticky. The toilet seat collar was not clean. Room was clean. Towels were changed and soap and shampoo were replenished daily. Coffee/Tea was available all the time. I would come again.”

”The biggest issue was that the mattress on the fold out couch beds were disgustingly dirty and ripped in spots. We stayed in two different rooms and had the same issues with the couch mattress in both rooms. Other than that, the main beds and rooms were fine. The pool area was nice, but the pool needed vacuumed due to debris at the bottom.”

Full Story: Look, I’m a reasonable traveler. I’ve stayed in budget motels before, and I know that sometimes nature finds a way indoors. When I walked into my room at the Super 8 in Ellenton after a long day at the beach, and a cockroach decided to take a stroll across the pillow, my family and I were definitely grossed out. We weren't looking for a war zone; we just wanted a clean place to sleep.
