Koskematon ja rauhallinen Bainbridge Island -koti, josta on henkeäsalpaavat Seattlen, Puget Sound- ja Mount Rainier -näkymät. Kätevällä paikalla, riittävän lähellä kaupunkia ja lauttaa, ja on miellyttävä pyöräretkelle päässä kaupoista ja ravintoloista. Herää tässä 3 makuuhuoneen ja 3 kylpyhuoneen kodissa upeilla näkymillä Puget Sound & Mount Rainierille Master-sviitin yläkerran kuninkaallisesta sängystä (kylpyammeella ja suihkulla). Toisessa makuuhuoneessa yläkerrassa, queen-vuode yksityisessä huoneessa, jaetulla suihkulla varustetulla kylpyhuoneella neljänteen makuutilaan, parivuode parivuodessa. Yksityinen alakerran makuuhuone queen-vuode, jaettu alakerran kylpyhuone suihkulla. Alakerran pesutupa, jossa pesukone ja kuivausrumpu vieraiden käyttöön. Talo on erittäin tilava, loistava pohjapiirros ja ympäröivät kuvaikkunat tekivät Seattlen kaupungin valoista niin mahtavia, milloin tahansa vuorokauden aikaan. Tämä gourmet-keittiö baaripaikkaineen tarjosi enemmän tilaa syömiselle ja kannen pöydän ja tuolien lisäksi. Keittiö on hyvin varustettu ruokailu- ja keittiövälineillä, päivitetyillä laitteilla, tuplauunilla ja paljon keittämismausteilla. Ruokaa kypsentämisen aikana nauttia henkeäsalpaavista näkymistä Puget Sound & Mt. Rainer, avoinna den ja ruokailutila, täydellinen viihdyttävä tai intiimi ruokasali.
Tässä kodissa on oma ranta, josta pääsee suoraan takapihalle, suuri tulentekoon, grillaukseen, ilotulitteisiin ja muuhun! Käynnistä kajakki, kanootti, meloa ja muita hauskoja vesiurheilulajeja suoraan yksityiseltä rannalta!

The view at the house was amazing as well as the path down to the water. The house was super clean and cozy for a girls weekend. The beds were comfy- we loved the couch and fireplace in the front room to relax and chat as well take in the view. Very easy check in and check out. One thing is the fridge along with the ice machine… had a very bad smell- not sure but needs a super goo clean out. Otherwise the house is beautiful and a lovely stay for a weekend.

Spectacular property

I cannot recommend this property more highly. It has truly one of the more spectacular views I have ever seen, and it is beautifully located on the island.The check-in process was smooth, the communication with the owner was exceptional, and I would stay here again!The kitchen is well stocked, including necessary, spices.

Family visit at Christmas

We spent a week on Bainbridge Island to visit family in the area. Tanglewood, which is what this property is known, is a family-owned property with a rich history dating back to the 1930s. It’s on a quiet location in Wing Point with a beautiful view of Seattle’s skyline and Mr. Rainier - when it chooses to reveal itself. The time we were there, we spotted a pod of orcas swimming across the Sound, and a bald eagle fly across twice outside our living room window.The owner, Barbara, is responsive, pleasant to work with and clear in her instructions for checking in/out. The place is beautiful, well-kept, clean, organized, comfortable and had every amenity. If you have a chance to stay here, check out their guest book.

Gorgeous View and Location is Great

We love the area, it’s just a few doors up from where we had a house so it was like going back home with the same incredible view. Location is great. If you have all tall people, the sloped ceilings could be problematic.

Nothing short of spectacular

We have stayed at various rentals on BI since 2015. This home is by far and away the best. The furnishings, the layout of the home, the deck and the view are all first rate. The proximity to Winslow and the ferry are both pluses as well. We can’t wait to return.

Fabulous house for our vacation

The house and property were exactly as shown in the description but the views are even better in person! It was a great space to enjoy with our friends and family. Seattle was a ferry ride away but we also enjoyed the local shops and parks.

Wonderful Hideaway On Bainbridge

Property was one of the top properties we have stayed in. Chefs kitchen, large living area, entire interior of home is modern. The view of downtown is spectacular from the porch and kitchen and if clear enough, spectacular view of Mt Rainer completes the sweeping views. Grounds are extremely well manicured. Nice neighborhood to walk with a city park just up and around the corner. Steps down to a private beach for those seeking a little adventure (could be challenging for older adults). 5-7min car ride to downtown and ferry landing (should get in the ferry line about 20min before scheduled departure). Jet tub in the upstairs master (with supplied bubble soap) that has views of the sound when laying back sipping champagne. Ceiling space is a bit tight in the upstairs bedrooms but that adds to the charm of the place (can hit your head easily if heading to the bathroom at night so just be cautious). Easy check in. A definite winner for an upscale stay.

Peaceful family downtime

My wife and teenage daughter absolutely loved staying here. The home had everything we could ever want and more. Views of downtown Seattle at night and Mt Rainier during the day kept us close to the amazing kitchen and family room during our stay. Picking up sea glass along the private beach was one of our highlights. Easy jaunt to downtown Winslow or to the ferry terminal if we wanted the energy of the city. We are most thankful for the host letting us enjoy her beautiful home.

Amazing property for families, location, view, beach access and fun! My wife and 4 children could not come up with a negative, it worked for all. Barbara was an amazing host and communicator. I would highly recommend her family home to anyone.

Easter on Bainbridge

We had a wonderful visit to Bainbridge Island. The property was exactly as described. It was so quiet and peaceful there. The house has a nicely groomed yard with space to play board games and there is a direct access to the beach. The house was in great condition and had a nicely stocked kitchen. We appreciated the double ovens and the plentiful supply of towels, toilet paper, bedding etc The layout is nice and open for hosting family with a gorgeous view of the sound and downtown Seattle. Beds were comfortable. The proximity to restaurants, grocery, entertainment was nice. We would definitely return to this property again.

Perfect for our winter visit!

Can’t wait to return and we just got home last night! Wonderful winter retreat…sat by the fire and watched eagles from big windows that looked out to Seattle skyline. Cooked meals and baked in a kitchen equipped with all we needed, from pans and utensils to spices and condiments, etc. Very comfortable beds and living room seating. Perfect for our winter visit and other seasons must be spectacular too. Great beach exploring down stairs from the yard, and walkable (2.5 miles) to the ferry and downtown. The host was responsive and incredibly kind with some last-minute changes. Highly recommend and will be back as soon as we can.

The views from this house were spectacular of the Seattle skyline and on clear days Mt Rainer. And the home was so well stocked with just about anything you could need. The outside deck with a table and cushioned chairs was delightful. And the kitchen with its vireos was a joy to cook in. We would love to return one day.

Perfection

This property is more beautiful than I imagined. We had gorgeous weather which facilitated clear views of Seattle and Mt Ranier. Quite a treat to wake up to that panorama every morning! House clean, very comfortable and extremely well stocked. We arrived very late at night with fatigued brains and could not get into the key box. Barbara (the host) was very patient, kind in helping us gain entry. Have already booked a return visit : )

Great view and great property

We loved this place. It had a great view of downtown Seattle and it was close to the ferry. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. The children loved going down to the rocky beach and playing.

Beautiful Home on Bainbridge Island

Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful home with a delightful deck and spectacular view of Puget Sound, Seattle and Mt. Ranier. Deer ran through the property and eagles flew overhead. Thoroughly enjoyed by all! House could have been cleaner upon our arrival.
