”We were at the front entrance in the rain and cold trying to use the code given to enter. Nothing worked. Several phone calls got us in. Once inside there was confusion on how to get our key to the room. Finally a code was given over the phone to open a box containing our key, but no card to activate power ,lights etc. After more calls etc. We got the card. The room itself contained 2 tiny single beds so close together in a small confined space, it was difficult to get up for the washroom use....

The location is also very convenient, especially if you are visiting the Sanctuary of Fátima, which is just a short walk away. ”Hotel was fine. Clean, friendly staff, much better than average parking at the back door. Good breakfast and nice facilities. There is one negative, though and for tourists in need of internet it is a real problem. The internet at the hotel was almost un usable in our room. This was the standard of internet from 15 years ago. Very weak signal, unable to load pages, let alone actually stream anything. I was stronger but not good closer to the reception. ”Large parking place, check in went smoothly, girl promised that printed receipt will be ready when checking out. Room was spacious, bed etc great. Breakfast started 7:30, a bit late but I had enough time. Quite basic breakfast. Im check out, receptionist refused to give the receipt, explained that I'll get from Expedia, even though I paid with card in check in. I explained what was promised, and how I always get the receipt from hotel if I pay directly to the hotel.After few minutes, she finally...

”parking was very good, staff at the reception especially the young lady was very good who provided us with the portable heater and gave some information where places are, for 6 nights no engineer to fix their heater kept on promising to us, toilet & floor are very cold, the room was dirty they do not clean the floor everyday, they only collect the bin and fixed the bed everyday but never changed the bed sheets, first 3 nights kids are running about and hear them from the room, breakfast same...

”What a beautiful property and the spa circuit is wonderful from the steam room, cold plunge bucket, dry sauna to the indoor heated pool & Turkish bath. The rooms are lovely and the staff are so attentive. Breakfast was wonderful as well including omelettes made on request. Great location. The morning fog/mist rose up above the monastery, lovely. They have a conference room that can seat 100 people and I would definitely consider hosting an event there. 10/10 highly recommend. ”
