”Lovely room, had everything you needed and was put together really well. Really convenient location and even though it was near the main road it was actually really quiet during sleeping hours. I’d stay there again if back in Bakewell. ”

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and the setting is both charming and ideally located for visiting Chatsworth House. Staying on the estate provided added benefits for access to Chatsworth, which enhanced the overall experience. What truly stood out, however, was the staff, especially Emma. They were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and always willing...

”Lovely place, service was authentic and very friendly. Would have helped to have parking instructions beforehand, but they handled it perfectly as well at the location. Breakfast was good and the location was convenient for exploring the Peak district.”

”Lovely clean room, and comfortable bed. The bar area was nice with a lot of choice. We ate at the restaurant- food was lovely but the service was poor. After we had our starter, it took over an hour for our mains to arrive. Nobody came to check on us or apologise for the delay. I had to grab a passing barman to ask for more drinks and after being there an hour and a quarter, chase up our mains. Such a shame because the food was very tasty but I wouldn’t eat there again ”
