”It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return. ”

”We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers. ”

”This is such a perfect place to stay, so comfortable, so peaceful and so beautiful. I loved hearing the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The room was super comfy, everything smelled so clean, fresh and lovely from the minute you walked in. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a lovely cooked breakfast and proper fresh fruit, not tinned. I would love to just live here never mind stay here again. ”

”We can't fault our stay - the room was clean, parking was easy, breakfast was great and the hosts were very helpful throughout. Perfect location for lots of local attractions. We stayed for 3 nights and climbed Yr Wyddfa one day (approx 40 mins drive), visited Betwys Y Coed (~20 mins) and Zip world (less than 5 min). Thank you!”

”WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was superb quality made from local produce. ...

”A very informal AirBNB in enormous family home. Hosts were very friendly, informal and keen to help. Full Breakfast was fabulous - I haven't seen a Hostess Trolley since 1983 and the croissant and granola yoghurt were lovely! Bed was very cosy and view from window stunning. Short walk or drive up to the rocks. On the negative side, en suite shower/loo/sink is very small and some of its finishes could be quite a bit better. Renovation is obviously still a work in progress, especially outside....
