”Great location with short walk across private beach access for that little neighborhood area. Nice beach that was uncrowded. House was comfortable. Kids enjoyed upstairs room with bunks. A couple small issues with doors sticking, one of the golf carts not working initially etc but property manager was responsive. Overall great trip!”

”This was our first time to BHI and absolutely loved it! The location of Washashore is perfect in that it is right across from the beach and mid island so close to the market / coffee shop etc. something we did not appreciate when we booked it. ITrip, the management company, was extremely responsive for the handful of questions we had and the house was great. In particular the thoughtful layout and large shaded deck were standouts.”

”This was a great property and a great location on the island. Our family enjoyed access to the pool, boardwalk to the fishing dock and beautiful setting. We were not able to locate paddles for the canoes so unfortunately we weren’t able to use those. Highly recommend this property and would stay here again. ”

”Cute house, but best for party of 4-5 or less. We had six and while we could have made all the kids share beds, the listing mentioned a queen air mattress that we planned on using, but it wasn’t there and honestly there isn’t a lot of space we would have been able to blow it up. We’ve been going to BHI for 15 years and this isn’t a house I’d want to stay in again as a family of this size. Kitchen is small and there is no cabinet space for pantry storage, again, if we had a smaller group, we...

”Perfect location for a family trip to bald head. Our kids could walk everywhere and if they didn’t want to walk, there were bikes provided that they could ride. The house has a great kitchen/family room and an adorable bunk room for kids to sleep in. Our teen daughter loved having her own space in the crofter. We loved our stay here!”
