Affordable Cottage Getaway
The CALM Cottage was the perfect place for my girlfriends and I to get together and reconnect. My friends came in from Minnesota, Las Vegas, Florida and of course parts of Michigan seeking another memorable vacation experience. And this place delivered!The cottage was nestled among the natural beauty of Baldwin, MI and it gave us a true "up north" feel away from the bustling big city crowds. It featured two good sized bedrooms and one massive bedroom where we gathered for an impromptu PJ party. The space offered everything we needed to relax including thoughtful touches like calming sound machines in each bedroom, automatic Wi-Fi accessibility, and a K-cup coffee maker. The home was recently remodeled and was well-maintained. We enjoyed the gentle sounds of nature, including a friendly woodpecker outside the back window. The location was a convenient distance to the festival, historical sites, and other events that were offered by the locals. We found all the utensils we needed to make our own taco bar right in the kitchen. Perhaps one of my favorite accents was the super-modern rectangular showerhead with the detachable rinse wand. The water pressure in this cottage was wonderful!This little gem was wheelchair accessible and offered both warmth and character for any couple, small family, hunting buddies, or a group of girlfriends like us. Thank you for making our girlfriend getaway a spectacular memory!
