”We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Dan, possibly the friendliest, more passionate human being on this planet. He gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and made sure we were taken care of for dinner as there isn’t much around. He sent us to the local pub with lanterns as the walk there gets dark and it added a pretty fun experience to our evening. The property is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. We played games in the lounge and had the best sleep in a very cozy and...

”Hands down our best room in Scotland! The room & bathroom were spacious, immaculate, and warmly decorated. Everything you might possibly need was provided - a plethora of complimentary snacks & beverages, wonderful local soaps & lotions, a hair dryer (lacking in 2 of our previous rooms). Small little kindnesses like a tiny flashlight attached to the room key & umbrellas provided in the room , lots of hanging & hook space. It was just a lovely lovely room with numerous extras that set it...

”I was actually shocked at the room. $200 US a night and no attached bath. Owner needs to make it clear that private bath is down the hall. Receptionist was gracious and worked out a refund for the second night but I would have never booked the room had I known my private bath was down the hall. Room was very sparse for the price. Walls were very thin. Listened to my neighbor clear his throat all night. Just not a comfortable room at all.”

”What wasn’t there to like? Nicola did an amazing job of making us feel at home. She and her partner provided absolutely everything you can imagine that a traveller might need- from robes and binoculars to information and the most delicious morning basket of goodies for breakfast! As well, we were lucky enough to overlook the water. Highly recommend this place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thanks Nicola😊”

”This property is exactly as described. It was clean and cozy and so peaceful. The Cow Hill Circular trail is accessible via Angus crescent which is a short walk away. Parking is included which was wonderful. We had a car which made going to town centre very easy, but you could walk (it would be steep uphill getting back) but doable. There also seemed to many buses as well. This felt like a country retreat.”
