”Surprenant , les toilettes sur le palier , il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas vu cela . Un lavabo minuscule dans la salle de bain , 1 seule serviette . La tv qui n'a pas toutes les chaines avec un démodulateur. Pas de bureau pour travailler . Déçu, la personne que j'ai vu là bas est très sympa , mais les prestations sont a revoir pour le prix .”

”We stayed here to visit the small where my ancestors were from. The Chateau was very charming and comfortable. James and Celine were wonderful hosts and so helpful- our trains were inconvenient and James kindly gave us a ride to the town and next train station. The breakfast was very good. The town of Montlouis itself is very small with not much to see but James reccomended nearby Ambois has castles and many things see and do. ”

”J'ai séjourné le mardi 7 février dans la chambre Ardoise, dés ma réservation effectuée, j'ai reçu un SMS de Christelle, avec toutes les indications nécessaires pour le séjour. Il est intéressant de noter que vous pouvez commander un plateau dégustation pour le dîner, ce qui est fort appréciable. Arrivé sur place, j'ai été immédiatement pris en charge par Christelle, qui m'a bien expliqué le fonctionnement de son gîte, en me faisant découvrir la très belle chambre, on peut même dire suite...

”It was like taking a step back to the 14th century...With a great bathroom! The whole property is beautiful. The modern bathroom and shower is 21st century with radiant heat in the floors. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was awesome. Thanks to Veronic and Rayanon.”

”What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! ”

”Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”

”Ottima guest house per vivere lo spirito della zona in paesino tranquillissimo. Antica casa molto tipica della zona. La signora che riceve è gentilissima, pronta a soddisfare ogni richiesta. La camera grandissima e bagno moderno, oltre gli standard nel contesto, forse una spolverata in più sarebbe servita, per il resto molto pulita. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Il pernottamento non è a buon mercato ma vale quello che costa. Lo consiglio.”

”We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. The hosts were welcoming and accomodating. We would definitely...
