Excellent for mid-vacation regrouping when traveling by car. Relax in the garden while washing your clothes, walk short distance for shopping, dining, and drinking or enjoy a home cooked meal in a beautifully appointed kitchen.

Beautiful rooms and everything you'd need is here

This is a real home away from home. The level of comfort and attention to detail is superb. The TV system is great and we'll be purchasing a similar set-up for home. All the appiances are new and the whole place is in an 'as new' condition. We will return whenever we are in the area.

Truely fantastic!

Hillview is truly outstanding. It’s not a hotel, nor is it a B&B - it’s a whole house, garden and driveway. And not just any house, it’s brand new, impeccably finished, and most importantly of all in Scotland – very warm and cosy! Myself and two friends stayed in the house while we had a week of skiing at nearby Glenshee Resort. Even before we arrived the owner, Phil, called to check we were safe and not lost on the snowy roads! On arrival he couldn’t have done more for us, ensuring we were totally happy with the house and all the brand new appliances within it. Phil and his lovely wife helped us throughout the week when we had questions irrelevant to the house – like where the best pub is, what’s the best thing of the local curry-house’s menu! They couldn’t have done more for us. The house itself is a great location – 5 minute walk to the amenities in the village – Coop, pubs, Chinese(!). It’s less than a 10 minute drive to Balmoral and Lochnagar. The house is stunning, with huge comfortable beds, two bathrooms with underfloor heating. The kitchen is beautiful with everything you could need – even Tupperware – which is within an open plan dining and living room. This accommodation truly cannot be recommended more highly. The house is flawless and family who own the property will make your stay unforgettable. We cannot thank them enough. Enjoy your stay!
