”Every time I moved in bed, it would squeak. There was paint off the walls in the room.”

”Room was extremely outdated, shower drain started to over flow. Bed was warned and uncomfortable. Unfortunately the room had dirt and flies everywhere with no cleanup in the stairwell as beer bottles and ashtray full of water and cigarettes butts we’re left there.”

”The property is a small block of 7 ensuite rooms with tv, tea-making and a small table n chairs. There is also a comfortable shared common lounge and basic kitchen available to use. It is located close to the base hospital and a rehabilitation (stroke, amputation etc) unit. The idea of this property is for families or patients to have affordable accommodation nearby the centres of healthcare. The same organisation also operates 2 much larger accommodation properties nearby.”

”After having driven over 900 kms to checkin at the Across Motel, my Amex was declined although I was told it’s accepted which annoyed me. On checking into the room, all I wanted was a shower, but at best it could only be described as a dribble and very unsatisfying. The traffic noise was atrocious and I barely slept. I checked out at 3am, couldn’t sleep, mainly because of the noise and security light that flooded the room. Very underwhelming experience.”

”Really enjoyed my stay at the Orana Motel in Dubbo, it was an easy, comfortable experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference. The rooms were clean, spacious and had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable, and it was nice and quiet, so I had a great night’s sleep after a long day out. Location wise, it’s in a great spot. It’s only a short drive to places like Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Old Dubbo Gaol and the...
