”We have stayed here before and received the usual warm welcome from the owner. The location is to the east of Carrick town, on a side road set back from the M4. The accommodation is quiet though. Bedrooms are cosy and homely.. A good breakfast in the dining room is ensured. Plenty of safe parking space.”

”I personally recommend this place if you are traveling in the area and need place to stay. Easy access from road, parking places next to house and nice yard. Clean rooms, nice bed and coffee and tea available 24/7. Web page pictures don't lie, it is really nice as it looks in the photos.”

We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. ”There was a little confusion at check in about which rooms we had been assigned, but it was resolved quickly. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the night that we stayed at Clancy’s, but it was only a few km to find a place to eat. The rooms were very quiet and everything worked well. Breakfast was included and we requested to have it at 7:30. They were not able to accommodate that, but made it for 8:00 and it was excellent. ”
