Hostellit – Ballyhoura Country

”Property met my requirements in every way and exceeded my expectations”

”New good-level quiet hostel. Excellent breakfest preparing materials. Hot water missing in the evening, probably a temporary fault.”

”As a solo traveller this accommodation was wonderful. Kate is incredibly kind, hardworking, and accommodating. She allowed me to check in much earlier and the room was absolutely spotless. I felt very safe during my stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of different options. I regret not staying a few extra nights! Overall I loved my stay at Ach na Sheen and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially solo travellers”

”We had the most wonderful stay at the Dunraven Arms to celebrate my partner 60th birthday. From the moment we arrived, Leisha at reception made us feel so welcome. She very kindly upgraded us to a suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the occasion feel extra special. The service throughout our stay was excellent. Denis in the restaurant was helpful, informative and kind, reflecting the warmth we experienced from everyone we met. Both dinner and breakfast were superb, and the bed...

”Mark was very kind to help us with minor issues we had getting into the property. It is VERY well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic! What was particularly nice was the spacious 'dining room' with an amazing rooftop patio. It was raining when we were there so didn't really get to go out on the patio, but we decided to stay in and enjoyed the dining room/ lounge. I would stay here again and recommend. Our apartment was on the third floor, so mind the stairs but we are seniors and...

”Uncomfortable pillows, far from the city centre. Options at breakfast were limited. All in all the Hotel was stuck at the 80's.”

”Dont waste your time here, pay €20-30 more and get a more comfortable place to stay, sandwiched between the railway line and the main road .. grim!”

”Great area and super cute place. It was warm, spacious, and peaceful. It was quiet and the host was very kind and helpful. Bathroom shower was large, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked.”

”very lovely house.. had everything, bed was comfortable, Pot belly stove came in handy. Could of had some paper towels in Kitchen. Sonia was more than accommodating and answered calls.quickly. I would stay here again.”

”The hotel looks tired and needs some upgrades. The shower was so very small, tighter than a phone booth and the shower walls are pealing. There is no elevator, so my husband had to carry the two full size suitcases up to the second floor. Cahir is a small town, with no many hotel options, so I guess it is not bad if you are staying there for a night, and the pub/restaurant offered a pretty decent fish and chips.”

”Vaikea löytää ja saman ketjun toisessa hotellissa ei edes tiedetty missä on”

”Outstanding spa experience. access to bar& restaurant was good all day. Walkable to most areas.”
