”The staff was amazing especially at the restaurant. Room kept clean and they cleaned our room everyday. Great food hands down. Love the area it was so quaint. ”

”The guesthouse is nice enough but the staff were standoffish to begin with. There was an unexpected extra charge for my dog to stay. They had their large dogs roaming freely, which was intimidating to nervous dogs on leads. The shower in our room was old and complicated to use. I forgot an expensive orthopaedic pillow at the guesthouse and requested it to be sent to me. The owner assured me he had it, charged me €35 and sent an old battered cushion with no cover at a cost of €9. Overall the stay...

”Tudor Lodge was a disaster as it was not open at all. We had made a reservation at least one month earlier via internet, but after driving several hundred kilometers we arrived to Tudor Lodge around 7.p.m. just to find out, that the place was closed down. A man opened the door and said that someone had passed away and that they wouldn't admit any guests. Nobody bothered to call us and inform about the situation. Thank you very much, hotels.com and Tudor Lodge - because of this we had to find...

”Food service in the breakfast area was poor. A lot of stuff wasn’t out, there wasn’t a lot of cups or glasses for beverages. Food choices were extremely limited. Other than that, the hotel is nice, clean, and exceptionally well situated if you want to just enjoy the Wicklow mountains ”

”The farmhouse was very clean with a spectacular view of the lake and surrounding areas. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend for a short or extended stay.”

”This hotel is good value for money and has good bars and restaurants. And the location is superb. Rooms are not the most polished that I've seen and the ones I stayed in have no view. However, they were fit for purpose for me.”
