”My wife and I had an excellent 2-night stay in unit 3 while visiting San Clemente for our nephew's HS graduation. The unit was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. The view and sounds of the surf breaking on the beach was loved. The one and only nuisance was the beach campfire smoke that would blow in with the onshore breeze each night from around 7 to 10:30pm. Since we have some breathing sensitivities, we ended closing up the unit and spent our time off-site during that...

”I contacted the property to let them know the reservation was not placed/ I didnt make it. Crickets. Come to find out, there is no reception/lobby/ anyone on the property and is non refundable. Expedia forwarded and email and havent heard since. Expedia is also 0/10. No help at all!”

”Have stayed here a few times, and it’s always our “go to” when we are in Orange County. Love the property’s location… so close to shopping and restaurants, and within walking distance to the beach and pier (just under 1 mile). The room was great; spacious, clean and comfortable with a balcony and slight ocean view. We will be back!”

”Property is right along the Main Street, very convenient to restaurants, shops, and several beaches. Bagel Shack is right next door, perfect for morning breakfast. Friendly staff.”

”Place was kinda run down, remote to tv was disgusting. TV was very very old and color was off. The fridge did not even work at all. The carpet was very gross and sticky feeling. It did have a nice little balcony and the bed was decent. All in all not worth the price.”

”It was like sleeping in somebody’s bedroom that really didn’t care about it. Drawers were dirty inside no hair dryer sheets were questionable. So much more I could say but honestly, you’ve got the idea. I guess when you’re only paying $100 a night you can’t really expect much more than that by the beach. The staff was very nice. We got an early check-in. The positive is it’s close to everything within walking distance. Beach is an about 5 miles away.”

”Adorable place in Dana Point. The decor is extremely well done in an old Spanish mission theme. The staff is very friendly. It was perfect for a quick, affordable escape near the beach. One disappointment was that the walls were super thin and we could hear everything from the next room. Another thing to note for people unfamiliar with the area is that Pacific Coast Highway is in between the hotel and the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.”

”Beautiful property! Our room was comfortable and very clean. The amenities nearby are all amazing; shopping, eateries, historical sites and beaches. I recommend Salt Creek beach for a nice family friendly beach. The bar, café and restaurant on site are wonderful. We will be returning very soon.”
