Tyylikäs Mountain Lodge 7 hehtaarin päässä oma lampi. Anna lasten juoksi ja leikkiä, kun taas aikuisten rentoutua kannella. Lomamme on kätkeytyneenä puihin, jossa kuulet viileän vuoristuulen puhaltamisen ja lintujen sirinää.

Master-sviitti ja kaksi isompaa makuuhuonetta, keittiö, ruokailutila, iso huone ja kansi sijaitsevat talon päätasolla.

Meillä on 2 pienempää makuuhuonetta, 1 kylpyhuone ja 1 parvi, jossa on sohva ja vedä vyöryä yläkerrassa.

Alakerrassa
kellarikerroksessa, meillä on 1200 neliömetrin pelihuone, jossa on 65 "tv ja oleskelualue, pingispöytä, biljardipöytä ja pesula-alue. Meillä on kuningatar vedä sohva saatavilla pelihuoneessa.

Pelihuoneesta pääset terassille ja porealtaaseen näkymästä alla oleviin tiloihin.

Erämme on noin 7. 5 hehtaaria, enimmäkseen metsäinen. Meillä on pieni puro ja keväällä syötetty lampi (ei uimiseksi) tontilla.

Kanneltamme ei ole näkyvissä muuta taloa. Se on ihmeellinen! :)

Pysäköinti on käytettävissä talon edessä 2-3 autolle, mikä on tasainen sora-alue. Lisäpysäköinti on saatavilla ajotieltä talon oikealla puolella; Tämä ajotie on kuitenkin hieman jyrkkä.

2 bags of trash may be left at the cabin at checkout, otherwise a $75 fee will apply. All trash can be taken to a nearby convenience center.
Do not block the road in front of the house with parked cars. Two neighbors live further down the road and need access to their homes.
Quiet hours for the neighborhood are 11pm-8am. Trespassing on neighboring properties is prohibited. Trash cannot be left outside due to bears.

Large open layout was perfect for our large family getaway! The additional living room/game room downstairs, that also connected to patio with hot tub was great for hanging out all together. The area and home was beautiful. Host were very responsive as well!

We stayed here for a family get-together for a week and everyone had a super time. The location was convenient to places we wanted to go and the house was just as it was pictured. We loved the pool table and ping pong -even had a tournament with fabulous prizes!!Brooke and Red were also quick to reply when I had any questions.

Perfect Mountain Retreat for Families & Groups!Our large group stayed here over Labor Day holiday and had a wonderful experience! The home is beautiful, well cared for, and feels like a true mountain retreat while still being close to the town of Banner Elk and other small towns. We even played two rounds at Sugar Mountain Golf Course, just minutes away.The wraparound deck was perfect for relaxing, having a morning coffee, or setting up cornhole (we brought our own boards). The fire pit was a bonus with plenty of seating for all to enjoy. The hot tub was another highlight, with easy instructions for keeping it safe and ready to use. Inside, the house was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, Roku TVs were in every space, and there were plenty of linens, pillows, and comfortable beds. The basement was a great hangout with a well-maintained pool table, seating, and cues.The tankless water heater was a huge plus—we never ran out of hot water, and the one time it tripped, the easy reset instructions in the binder solved it quickly. Bathrooms are spread across levels, so some planning helps, but it worked fine for us. Parking is tight (best for 4 cars or fewer), and trash must go to the local convenience center due to bears, though you can leave two bags at checkout.Overall, this home was the perfect base for our trip, with comfort, charm, great amenities, and a super convenient location!

Perfect house for what we needed! We were celebrating my daughter turning 9 with a trip to Tweetsie. We also did the alpine coaster & grandfather mountain. This house was situated between all of them. My children each brought a friend, so the bedrooms upstairs were perfect for that. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils. The beds were comfy. The children loved the downstairs game room & hot tub. My only issue- no hair dryers. The description stated each bathroom had a hairdryer therefore I didn’t pack one & there wasn’t one there. Overall, this house was great & checked all the boxes for what I was looking for.

Very peaceful and quiet.

Communication was GREAT! Hosts answered my questions quickly and briefly. The house was exactly like in the listing. Plenty of dining and sleeping accommodations for the 10 adults and 2 kids. Both living rooms had baskets of blankets that were more than plenty for us. I really liked that! Now for the negative stuff, not bad bad, but i feel should've told the hosts about it. 1- the first night, there were a few ants by the kitchen sink but none during the rest of the stay. 2- the covered hot tub was a tiny bit dirty, but its to be expected since there are trees everywhere. Not a big deal, but something to point out that it would be nice if the hot tub was cleaned of debris right before a customer's stay. 3- It would have been nice if all the big windows had curtains to cover up the living space during night time. This is me being honest about the place but all in all, my family and I had a VERY pleasant stay. Maybe we'll book this house again next year??

Mountain Weekend

We celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday with 12 of our friends (14 guests total) for a long weekend in Banner Elk. The house comfortably slept everyone with one couple on the pull out couch and another on the upstairs futon. The house was clean and provided the necessities like towels and kitchen equipment. The drive up the mountain was worth it when you arrived to the beautiful home. The spacious kitchen and large game room was perfect for our group that played board games, ping pong, and billiards all weekend! The drive into Banner Elk and to Sugar Mountain was short and easy allowing my husband and his friends to go skiing multiple days. Boone was also near by, giving us many options for leaving the house if we wanted! Our only dilemma we ran into was the trash policy. We were only able to leave 2 bags of trash on the property and had to take the rest with us (the hosts let us know that leaving the trash outside could attract bears). For us this was no issue since we all drove to the house and everyone was able to help with removing the trash. However, I could see this being difficult for anyone who may not have as much room in their cars or perhaps flew to the destination. Brooke and Red were such amazing hosts. They responded to my questions prior to our arrival and even when we were in the house. They left detailed instructions that were easy to follow and made the check out process simple. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone wanting a stay in Banner Elk.

Snow vacation!

Location ideal. . . Remember it is on a mountain, so i was a little nervous when driving.. kitchen fully stocked(utensils/ plates/ pots)... plenty for the kids to do.... plenty of room if u need a blow up bed, we had a large group everyone was comfy!comfortable.

As advertised. Very spacious and comfortable sleeping for our 10 adults. Winter storm and probably 10 inches of snow that week and though a four-wheel-drive was needed it was easily accessible and ample parking for fairly large vehicles. Hope to return.
