Chalet is a nicely updated cozy one-bedroom, one bath home including a gas fireplace in the living room, sitting on a two-car oversized garage. The Chalet is the perfect couple's getaway for a quick ski trip! As part of the overall Summit Of Beech property, it's connected by a rustic skybridge to the main Skytop Chateau property, which may be rented separately. Guests renting Summit of Beech or Skytop Chateau have access to the main deck and hot tub, but when renting only Chalet at The Summit of Beech, guests do not have access to these features.

Chalet at The Summit of Beech is located just minutes away from Beech Mountain Resort, a popular year-round destination for all sorts of outdoor fun. In winter, enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding; and in warmer months have fun mountain biking down the runs!

Located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to Private Restaurants, Championship Golf, Professional Tennis, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested and paid for in advance. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by. Guests also enjoy quick access to historic downtown Banner Elk so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- If you want to stay and play on the slopes, during winter (November-April) you'll need to come prepared to handle heavy snow. You must bring 4WD or AWD vehicles to drive up to Beech Mountain, and chains may also be necessary during bad weather.
- Situated atop Beech Mountain, the Chalet does not have air conditioning.
- There may be additional renters staying at Skytop Chateau At Summit Of Beech during your stay. Please be respectful of their enjoyment of the property.
- Guests of the home have the option to purchase a temporary membership to Beech Mountain Club during their stay. Please note that the transfer of Club usage is not guaranteed and is based upon availability. Please inquire for details.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains REQUIRED during winter (Nov-March) for all Beech Mountain area homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- The road leading to the home is paved, but the driveway is a 0.2-mile single-lane gravel road that is shared by two properties.
-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs (dogs not to exceed 50 pounds each) with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
