Halftime Haus's ski in/out location is just a short hike to the top of Beech Mountain. Enjoy a drink and snacks or take a morning yoga class at 5506, named for its elevation and glorious 360 degree views. Hop on a nearby bike trail or take advantage of the countless hiking trails in the area.
Halftime Haus offers an ideal location for family-friendly activities and events. Almost every weekend hosts an arts/crafts festival, holiday parade or live outdoor music. Tubing, sightseeing, waterfalls, wineries, golf courses, fishing, shopping and a variety of restaurants are just a short drive from Beech Mountain.

The 3000+ square foot home is only a short walk from Fred's General Mercantile as well as other fun retail and activities on Beech Mountain. The upper garage serves as a mudroom, ski, and bike storage area with a deck walkway to the slope right out the door. You can even ski right to the door!
Inside, relax in a great room with a high cathedral ceiling and wood-burning stone fireplace. The modern kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances opens up to a dining area along with a bar and beverage center for effortless entertaining. On the same level are three bedrooms, each with a private full bath. Enjoy the third level loft for additional sleeping and a video arcade table boasting 400 games for rainy days and to keep the kids entertained. Central heat and air keep you comfortable while a whole-house generator provides security. Stay connected with high-speed internet and six smart flat-screen TVs, two video consoles, and 100s of DVD movies. The lower level provides another den/living area with a brand new pool table, and an additional bedroom with a full bath. Also on the lower level is a luxury master suite—a living space in its own right with a king size bed, sitting area, gas fireplace, access to a private deck area, and a minibar. The en suite bath has a large champagne bubble bathtub as well as a double shower.

Additional Notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- The driveway is very steep and therefore blocked off for the winter months. There is plenty of parking along the road and in the cul-de-sac at the end of the street. Guests are advised to be prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles during winter months.
- This property is not pet friendly.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
