The Dark Knight at Eagles Nest is a one-of-a-kind luxury retreat, dramatically perched on solid bedrock at an elevation of over 4,800 feet. Inspired by the iconic silhouette of Batman's mask, this architectural masterpiece blends bold design with mountain luxury, offering guests an unforgettable stay amidst the clouds.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be struck by the home's imposing presence and sharp modern lines—mirroring the mysterious elegance of Gotham's Dark Knight. Inside, soaring ceilings and sleek finishes create an atmosphere both moody and majestic. At the heart of the living space is a 72-inch wide wood-burning fireplace, designed to evoke the feeling of an indoor bonfire—perfect for gathering around with friends and family on chilly mountain evenings.

The home's layout is designed for both comfort and privacy. On the main level, you'll find a luxurious king en suite, offering high-end finishes and convenient access to the main living areas. Upstairs, a queen en suite provides a private retreat, while a second queen bedroom and a bunkroom with two sets of twin-over-twin beds share a spacious full bathroom—perfect for accommodating family or guests. On the lower level, a cozy queen bedroom is located next to a full bath in the hallway, offering easy access and privacy. Each bedroom is carefully appointed to ensure every guest enjoys a restful and relaxing stay.

Entertainment and relaxation are central to The Dark Knight experience. A pool table room invites friendly competition with a second living space. Multiple decks and outdoor living spaces offer plenty of room to breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the views. Coming soon is a hot tub, perfect for relaxing under the night sky!

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note all visitors on premise at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.

Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- The front door has a Ring-style security camera. No cameras monitor the interior or back decks.
- Guests returning to The Dark Knight may receive a discount of 10% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You'll receive two bundles of firewood for $25/night plus tax.
- PLEASE NOTE: Garage is not for guest use. Thank you for your understanding!
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
