Rauhallinen mökki karpalo näköalalla ja pääsy merelle

Jos rauha ja hiljaisuus omassa kodissasi ovat mitä haluat, Cranberry View on täydellinen pakopaikka tuodakseen perhe ja paeta kaikkea. Länsi-Wayin rannan vieressä sijaitseva talo tarjoaa vierailijalle paljon yksityisyyttä ja yksityisen rantapolun valtameren reunaan, upeiden maisemien ympäröimä. Jokaiselle Acadian tarjoamalle toiminnalle on helppo pääsy, jopa ilmainen julkinen liikenne, kauden aikana heti ajotieltä. Helppo puiston käyttö, ostosmahdollisuudet, ilmainen julkinen liikenne kauden aikana ja kaikki muut aktiviteetit täällä Mt Desert Islandilla. Noin kaksisataa jaardia rannikolta. Ihastuttava hahmo suurella pihalla ja ympäröivillä puutarhoilla. Siirry lumoavalle rantatielle veden äärelle tai nauti luonnosta kannelta kuuntelemalla loputonta lintujen välittämistä ja lähellä olevan valtameren ääniä. Loved being on the quiet side of the island. Our kids loved looking for crabs and shells at the private beach and wonderland. Access to adventure was excellent. Roasted marshmallows and enjoyed watching the wild life from the big living room windows. Highly recommend!

A very comfortable and cozy cottage! The directions to the place and how to get into the building were easily understandable. There was a very thorough list of food and activity recs. The rooms and beds were comfy. Got to see lots of deer and turkeys! I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay sort of near to Acadia without being around the crowds.

Great Place for a Getaway

We had a great July 4th holiday weekend in Acadia. This was the perfect place to stay in a quiet wooded area and close to everything the island has to offer. The Southwest Harbor fireworks were a highlight of the trip!

Magical location on the "quiet side" of the island

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Cranberry cottage, tucked away on a private wooded lane with walking access to the rocky shore. The house is spacious and lovely. Anne's recommendations were spot-on, from restaurants to hikes, and she responded promptly to a couple minor issues on arrival (finicky dishwasher, fixed very quickly.) Southwest Harbor is a lovely town, and even on the "quiet side," everything we wanted to do on the island was no more than 20-30 min away. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Lovely place, location and hosts!

What a nice home! Comfortable for the five of us. We needed a couple more towels and a little help with our sleep setup and Anna was very quick to help out! The furniture was comfortable. The queen size bed was fantastic! The only small thing was that we love to be cold in our home and the a/c is only in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We were fine, but something to be aware of if you need a more fully air conditioned place to stay. The deer in the yard were wonderful! The location was quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The washer and dryer were convenient and the wealth of information provided about the area was amazing (via email, in the home, and in person)! Watch out for deer on property and the nearby roads and bring water shoes for the private beach. Overall a fantastic stay!! Thank you!

Lovely house and lovely location!

We loved staying at this cottage! It was conveniently located to many great hiking spots and felt secluded enough out in the woods. Just a short walk from a very nice secluded rocky beach as well. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great retreat out to Acadia!

Great location and nice property. Awesome communication with owner. Property would be enhanced with some minor improvements - another mirror outside the single bathroom and better lighting in bedroom. Regardless, happy to recommend this idyllic spot.

Loved the rocky beach!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, especially the beach access. The cottage was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The notebook and info messaged from the very responsive host Anne, was super helpful. We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was, and thoroughly enjoyed the deer who visited. Anne recommended Bub's Burritos in town and the Sea Princess boat tour, and both were great, definitely check them out while you're there. One thing we had never experienced before this trip was being asked to strip the beds and start the laundry, trash yes, but not laundry. Perhaps this should be added to the policies section of the listing. Thank you for sharing your great little cottage, we would definitely rent this one again!!

Absolutely loved our stay..the mornings were shared with deer while drinking coffee. Beautiful quiet and nestled in a wooded area with walk down access to the shore...was in distance of partaking in the many sights in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Hostess was wonderful and made sure our basic needs were met..will definitely return and recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Anne was very quick to respond to any of our queries. We used the Cranberry Cottage as a home base while we explored Acadia. The location was perfect for us, and the cottage has a book with useful information on the area. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to the area!

Love Cranberry Corrage!

It’s just a beautiful little property and the house itself is comfortable and clean and lovely to stay in. There are constantly deer coming through the yard to visit the apple tree, it’s a short walk to a beautiful rocky Maine beach, and one of Mount Desert Island‘s favorite lobster pounds is on the corner. Couldn’t ask for more!

Cozy cottage for a great vacation!

Our family really enjoyed this spacious cottage with the quiet setting. It was a perfect location to relax after exploring and shoping! We loved all the information that was sent to us prior to getting there, it was so helpful!! Loved Gott's store, had everything we needed for meals and snacks. The cottage had everything we needed to make meals there. When we had a question or a need, Anne responded quickly. Hope to go back someday.
