Too hot in the room
We booked a room a which should have had air conditioning. After first night we complained because it was too hot during the night. We were told that the hotel is still on the "winter mode" which means that there is only heating available and the system works in a way that there could be only heating or only cooling. They told us that they will change to cooling later. So after the first night we were told to shut down the heating. This didn't help at all and we complained again and this time we were told that the only option to cool the room is to keep the window open also during the night. So we did, but it is horrible to keep the window open because you can hear the highway very well and under our window is the loading dock of the grocery store which was busy also during the night. It is not correct to mention about the AC in the room description if you can't use it. The staff didn't do anything about it. Only thing that they did was that they said that they are sorry. This doesn't help much when you have invested your time and money for the vacation in Barcelona but you can't sleep well during the nights.

Stayed from May 4-7 and May 10. The rooms are bare with no face towels, box of tissues, no fridge, no coffee dispenser etc in short nothing but the bed! The basement parking was free, but reeking of sewage and urine. This is one of the very basic hotels we’ve lived in. Would not come again nor would I recommend.

Très bien situé, au calme, à quelques kilomètres de Barcelone. Idéal pour laisser la voiture dans le parking gratuit de l'hôtel. Un train vous amène en quelques minutes au centre ville de Barcelone pour environ 5,2 euros aller/retour.

Very nice hotel, hood breakfast, friendly - helpful staff. Little bit far from Barcelona center - there is a train station in 5 min walk, but train schedule is not always accurate, which can cause issues, especially traveling back to the hotel at the evening. But overall it’s a nice hotel for a good price, with a lot of shops/ food options around it.

The property and staff are fantastic. The park areas and the abjointing open space needs attention with trash, debris and unsightly graffiti.

Though the stay was very good and it served decent meals, there were few restaurants available locally. It’s about 30 minute train ride into Barcelona city centre and it takes about 10 mins walk from Cerdanyola del Vailes Railway station. The railways seems to have a lack of investment as through out my stay units had broke down or were late or as on the last day they were down to one line. It didn’t matter as I was on holiday. The staff speak limited English and are usually very busy, The hotel is more of a business hotel than a tourist one. There are a number of drinking establishments if you look. A McDonalds and Lidl next door too. Next door is a cafe come bar but the surroundings look a bit desolate, with an lgbt park and a bridge across the main motorway. I wouldn’t recommend as a base for visiting Barcelona City as you’d probably be better off with something more central. If your on a business trip it’s perfect with plenty of parking, good meals and friendly staff

A bit noisy late on Saturday nights
There seems to be a nightclub nearby which plays until at least 1am Sunday morning. Unfortunately the rooms aren’t that soundproof. Other nights seems quiet though.

The staff at the hotel were both professional and polite and were able to deal with those last minute things such as a replacement toothbrush etc without any fuss. The hotel is only a short walk away from the town centre and the railway station which has a frequent service in to central Barcelona. The hotel benefits from a secure car park which is free and provides good peace of mind. The hotel is located in a more industrial zone of Ripollet which means over night there can be a lot of loading and unloading taking place and this can be a bit disruptive if you are a light sleeper. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom comes with a shower and has both shampoo and liquid soap provided along with a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was but my preference would be for thicker pillows. Overall I would recommend the hotel, it is a well connected location and means you are also close to the national park and the mountains giving you the best of access to the city and countryside. It also allows you to experience a small town which has a wide variety of shops and places to eat.

Good value
The hotel was clean and modern, the room comfortable. Free secure onsite parking was a great point for us. Plenty of cafe's and convenience stores nearly. Train station was an easy 800m walk and goes directly into the city. If looking to eat out, we highly recommend Calvari Pizzaria.
